I'm a video producer and I've always felt that I could get more out of Audition. I've been asked to produce a podcast and have had to jump into Audition head first. In that process I've run into lots of good tutorials, but this has to be one of the most important for me, because it will surely ripple back into video in many important ways. As you said, it's a game changer. Thanks for the ever-thorough work you do.

This is so great Colin, thank you! Saw your interview on rampant design channel recently, was glad to hear that you have a musician's background. Was really interesting to hear all that you said there, it was as i myself was talking) being a musician, an editor, and a director , knowing tons of software, but not being the best in each particular field i'm constantly thinking of a way to combine the knowledge gathered throughout the decades, to give it some kind of a new and fresh twist, learning an forgetting new stuff everyday, haha) so all that you said is totally related to what i am going through at the moment. Hope to find my own way soon. Can't thank you enough. Been watching both channels since the first videos. Cheers from Russia! Btw, this tutorial was very helpful, will try this today.

+Tim Maskkot - Thanks for watching for so long and supporting myself and VideoRevealed. As much as I love Adobe software, I love music even more. Listening to Peter Gabriel's Scratch My Back right now. Good luck in all that you do my friend.

+VideoRevealed the same here, music is my main passion, so other stuff is mostly a means of making the money needed for playing music, so i definitely understand) thanx for your response and efforts! Peter Gabriel is a great choice

Ahh, my favourite Depeche Mode song :) Hard to believe it came out 19 years ago. I've known about the remix feature for a while, although have not tried it yet. So if you set the minimum loop to 16 or 32 beats, it should still work ok without messing up the structure of the song too randomly? Also, can it be used with video files, and slice the video too? Because I sometimes get clients asking for Instagram edits of their music videos that I've made. And rather than trying to pick the best one minute of the music video or editing it manually, such a feature could come in quite handy.
@VideoRevealed8 жыл бұрын
+Avene - I heard this Depeche Mode song playing in a record store one day and loved it. I asked the clerk what it was and he told me and said the only copy was the CD that he was playing. I bought it on the spot. There are no guarantees how a Remix will work, you just have to try it. It will not work on Video, there's too much arbitrary data in a video to make cuts work and be smooth. Thanks for the support.

Many thanks for the useful tutorial. I have a question regarding installing additional languages on WINDOWS 10. As you mentioned in your tutorial, Mac system does have more variety of different languages already installed on the system such as Arabic, Japanese etc… I’m running Mac OSX and I don’t have any problem with that. I tried to use my PC windows 10 at work and installed few languages ( in this case Arabic, Japanese) in it but Adobe Audition did not pick or show the new installed languages on its platform. I would appreciate if you could tell me how could you install additional languages on the Audition based on windows platform? Many thanks

Use can use the Center Channel Extractor. Look in the Favorites for "Remove Vocal". The results are not always great and sometimes not good at all.

Did you apply the Remix settings (press the large blue Remix button). Does that same button show as "Disable Remix"? If you have enabled Remix and you don't see the zig-zag lines, try making changes to the settings under the Advanced drop down part of the panel.

Can you work with MIDI instruments with this software?
@VideoRevealed8 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no, there is no MIDI support. There used to be in a very old version of Audiion for Windows, but Adobe rewrote the application and decided not to add MIDI support back in as too few users needed that functionality. FYI, I have been a long time user of Steinberg Cubase and it has awesome support for MIDI, virtual instruments and it works well with Audition!
@yosyp59058 жыл бұрын
VideoRevealed Thanks for the reply! The software is not free, do you know any reliable free software for working with MIDI?

Not sure if you're saying the audio level is changing or the volume fader is moving? Have you tried different settings in the Remix and do they produce the same results? Have you tried a completely different track as a test? Do you have any effects on that track?

You most likely got a warning that you needed to select the Apply button in the Effects Rack before you export. Follow that guideline to make sure the effects are applied.

How to remix any voice
@VideoRevealed7 жыл бұрын
This would not work well with spoken language. The process is based on beats and melody, which can be rearranged and still makes sense. If you rearrange words, then they would not make sense because the algorithm doesn't understand grammar.
