I added celery, carrots and poultry seasoning....very good. I don't have an Instant pot but, I started on the stove top and finished it in the oven.... Yummy. Thank you for all your recipes and ideas.

If you put that kind of rice in the IP it it will disintegrate into mush trust me I've overcooked my rice before by misreading the directions and instead of 3 to 4 minutes for regular white rice I thought it said 30 minutes and yes it was a pile of mush. That was back when my IP was brand-new I've had it for several years now so I don't make errors like that anymore or at least I haven't sense. I hope this is of help.

@@ep6606 you're welcome. I hope you continue to enjoy your IP. I use mine several times a month, sometimes several times a week especially in the winter when everyone seems to want soups and chili. It's not uncommon to come into my home in the fall and winter and find something sitting in the IP piping hot and ready to enjoy. If you haven't tried baked sweet potatoes in the IP I highly recommend trying it. They come out so soft and fluffy. I've also made a cheese cake in mine that didn't last even 1/2 hour. My grandkids devoured it. 😂

Did you rinse your rice? Sometimes that helps the burn notice- also getting anything stuck on the bottom off helps.
