pretty girl. I'm in the UK and would like to have jaw surgery. I have a deep bite and think bring my jaws into better alignment would improve my looks and other issues. In the vast majority of cases downgraft goes together with a rotation or advancement of the maxilla, so the answer is no.

@@Elainek2809 Actually her mandible was advanced. What gives the effect of a more harmonic face is the fact that the maxilla, which was recessed, was brought forward and down, thus making the mandible look less prominent.
