Low pressure=I.CC.U Inward counterclockwise upward High pressure=C.O.D(call of duty) clockwise outwards downward This is how I remember it! Great video

That’s how I remember it too!

My instructor told me to think of screwdrivers! If you were trying to screw something in you would have high pressure pushing it downward, clockwise, outward and then if you were unscrewing you’d have less pressure to pull the screw out so upward, counter clockwise and inward (ICU OCD)

Easiest way to remember is, just think about looking at a clock. You look up High to see a clock so High=Clockwise and the other is just opposite
@WestAirAviation11 ай бұрын
Another way to think about it is to think of a toilet. Toilets typically spin clockwise as it flushes downward in the northern hemisphere. This is a design feature, so YMMV.

A02 means there is a precipitation sensor and discriminator. PWINO means that sensor is unavailable.

PPL student studying for IFR checkride. Only thing I'd think to mention is using your tools more. When it's asked what instruments are required, or if you can fly when the slip/skid is busted, show that you're allowed to look that up and don't waste time memorizing it. Personally, I almost explicitly don't want to memorize it. If I get in a new plane, I'm going to explicitly pull up 91.205 to make sure it's got everything it needs. If I get in the plane after the first time and something is broken, I'm referring back to 91.205 again. This way, if 205 ever changes, I'm not caught off-guard when referring to only my memory.

Passed! The oral portion of the checkride was a breeze. Now the flight portion was stressful lol. Intercepted and tracked a VOR to the VOR and away from the VOR to the airport. Then did ILS/RNAV, did a hold, procedure turn, unusual attitudes and then was pretty much done. Instrument was so fun, working on commercial maneuvers now.@@barhoomrmayti5443

cold front usually worst weather unstable atmosphere 3+ degrees per 1000 ft, good visibility possible squall lines and showery weather warm front good visibility due to stable atmosphere 2 degrees every 1000 ft and steady rain if any
