Hi where did you buy the plastic piece to put in front of dog house And have you ever considered adding a heater solar powered?/ how would you do it 😅

I'll attach a link for what I used for the front door (it has a strong odor and took quite a while for that smell to go away). amzn.to/4fQZ76H I thought about a heater and it I had a different breed of dog then I would have put one in. I would use the wind break wall as a location for the heater, then I could run wiring to it up through the bottom, I would have put a piece of conduit in that I could run wires up through. I don't have enough experience with solar to do that with solar, but what I was considering doing was direct wiring it to an extension chord and then using a thermostat outlet that could automatically come on at certain temperatures.

How much did the project cost if you remember? Want to start planning my project dog house but I’m not sure what the budget plan looks like as of now, thanks in advanced, it came out great!

It ended up around $300, I had some of the materials already. When I upped the size it required a lot more plywood that raised the cost. My initial goal was to keep it under $250.
