I suspect apprentices and Adult learners alike struggle with IR testing, but these three videos have gone a long way to simplify the process and highlight the pitfalls. The fifteen minute or so format works well especially if you are taking notes etc.Real life Megger testing a real bonus.Thank you as always.

Thanks Freezefoot, I really appreciate your feedback. I do plan a 4th part, as I still feel its not covered yet. The next EICR I do on an empty property. I will do a real life IR test, to show the difficulties and problems., and hopefully how to overcome them. .

I've not heard for your channel for a while, I hope your okay. I've been going back over your old ones and as usual your content is too notch, thank you. It would be good to see Part 4, for modern RCBO boards incorporating SPD protection. Keep up the fantastic insights into the life of a spark.

Thanks Olly, really nice comment. Yes not been able to do any new videos. Not enough hours in the day at the moment. Hopefully will get some out soon.

Fantastic as always but can i ask what software your using for this as i like the look of it and the drag and drop simplicity of it ... appreciated :)

Hi Nigel, Thanks for the comment. All the drawing is in illustrator, with a little bit of After effects, and I use ScreenFlow to make the videos.

Had a sh*t fault find today at Phil Collins' house. L-E and N-E on a lighting circuit were both 0.00 (dead short) but not tripping..... or reading anything odd on an earth leakage clamp! :(
