Did you see any other information in Forscan pointing to those injectors being bad? just want to check if theres other methods to test rather than buying one of these tester

You should be able to see injector correction on the forscan, this will tell you if fuel is being added or taken away from each injector 😉👍👍

Thats not insulation test. You just measured resistance of the piezo element under voltage (~200k ohms . 0.2 m ohms) . You will get same ohms if you just measure resistance between + and -) . To measure insulation you need to connect - to injector body

Insulation testing was quite a new concept to me when making this video, but as far as I know injectors can be insulation tested pin to pin or each pin to the body 🤔 Check out the video below & let me know what you think kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZofQd5SufZt6rZI

I think it’s depends on piezo injector type

Hi. On this meter the minimum possible resistance is 0.125 megohms, right? Have you ever seen 0.05 0.1 or any value less than 0.125 megohms on it?

Thanks alot so easy to understand, yet I have a question 🤣 how do you know the polarity of wires or it doesn't matter ? Is 125v for most injectors or does this need changing for different makes and models ( aka 500v )
@kennedysgarage32813 жыл бұрын
Polarity doesn’t matter due to the 2 wires being control wires. 120v to 125v on cars. But I am finding it a handy bit of kit. Thanks for the comments & I hope the videos help at some point 👍

@@kennedysgarage3281 of course it helps more then you can imagine your explaintion is very understanding compare to some bigger KZbinrs in automotive industry 👍 thanks alot mate really great
