I use to install roofs with my brother and fell in love with the industry. I am now on the Contracting side of things and you have brought me life changing success in just a couple months I can't wait to get to one of your live trainings. OBSESSED lol

I’m an adjuster for a large carrier who has watched your videos the last year. I have zero problem calling the code office in the local area and just saying I’m working on an estimate, the contractor says XYZ is required, can you confirm? If they confirm, I approve (if they have code coverage). I don’t know why so many adjusters seem to be so unreasonable and combative. That’s weird to me. I don’t want to fight with y’all either 😅.

I appreciate the comment, Jenny! I believe it will be extremely helpful for contractors to see it. Also, thank you for watching my content and for taking great care of your policyholders! Keep winning, my friend. 🙏🙌💖👊😉

I've been doing this for 12 years as P&C adjuster - this is the way. I don't know code off the rip - I don't need to know code. Its the CTRs job to know what they legally have to comply with and provide the documentation to me for consideration. If they think a code applies to something - it takes me 15 mins to write an email to code enforcement or pick up the phone and call them. Assuming the code being quoted to me is a legit code and the local enforcement says its required - I call the home owner and the ctr tell them if coverage is available for the code requirements and move my file. I am in no way trying to argue with a CTR on anything much less argue codes - My job is too stressful as it is - I have state mandated guidelines and deadlines that I have to meet - and typcially more work arguing only makes it a bad experience for all parties involved.

Your speaking truth as always. I’m A previous 20 yr contractor then inspector and been a public insurance adjuster for the last 4 years to use my knowledge of building codes, actual building process and insurance softwares like xactimate and symbility to help home owners and contractors get what they need to get the job done right.

what if the adjuster is too dense to understand when you throw code at them.

Chad, or anyone who is a claims expert, what’s the situation when the building codes require you to demo the house and replace the foundation. Does that foundation fall under the Law and Ordinance but then the rebuild falls under Dwelling coverage? Homeowner with house fire that consumed 80% of 2nd story and 45% of main floor. I can add more context if needed.
