I've already said this in another video...THIS is my go-to for casual play - nice dopamine reward while playing a classic style and still has an element of risk (Demons and Thaye stay dangerous, Wraiths make perfect games very difficult.). Fun, decent challenge, good reward...for folks with 100+ hours, this is super fun for prestige and levels.

11:52 was that ghost orb visible to the naked eye? EDIT: It's just the reflection of the player's shoulder light reflecting off the lightbulb. It just happened to be in range just as the orb appeared.

so at 52:27, i took the game stats (which you got perfect investigation - best case scenario) and basically you got 2080 with x5 multiplier and you would get 2172 with 5.23 multiplier minus the 80 spent on pills its 2092 so you get 12 more which is nothing basically but you do get +5 sanity which is neat :)

I don't think that the Sanity Pills are really worth it. You spend $80 each time for 0.23 more on the multiplier. To compensate the loss of $80, those extra 0.23x reward must be worth at least $80 (or more). For that, the reward must be $347.83 or more, which you probably most of the time don't get

You can do something similar with night mare but you set finger print duration to 60 seconds and kills extend hunt you can get 4.20x

I'm a scared giganoob so I made my own difficulty for farming as well, and it turned out to be the opposite approach from this lol. 0 sanity but fast player speed, so I can try to guess the ghost from a hunt immediately but be so fast I can escape constantly from most of them

I use a 5,40. No hunts (except the rare demon hability if you are really unlucky). 4 to 8 minutes max. Min 1400 xp up to 2300 xp.

Later on in the vid he switched it. He starts at 0 but gets 4 sanity pills that each give 20 sanity. Got switched cuz he noticed that u get a higher overall multiplier and even though you have to buy the pills each round, the higher multiplier makes it so it is still financially worth it

I created my own difficulty as well and I got an easy x5.5 and the games are even easier than the one Insym shows. Sanity 100, Pills restore 0%, Drain speed 200%, Sprinting off, Player speed 100, Flashlight off (must use glowstick for UV), Lose items on Ghost speed 150 (doesn't matter only hunts I ever get are early demons), Roaming High, Change fav room : Med, Activity Med, Events Low, Friendly off, Grace period 1s, Hunt Duration high, Evidence 3, Finger prints chance 100, finger print duration 30s Setup time 0s, Weather windy, Doors open high, Hiding spots, Low, Monitors off, Fuse box on and visible

Tell me you didn't watch the video without telling me. I later give an even better version of this difficulty which only works if you plan to never get hunted. Mine had like 5.75x multiplier. You can improve your difficulty by changing this: Sanity=0, pills become 20% (just take the pills at the start), grace period = 0 second (doesn't matter if you don't get hunted)

I like to run a custom 5x Nightmare. Biggest thing I change is turning the sanity board on to help with sanity drain ghosts. I like 2 evidence cause you still have to pay attention to ghost quirks.

im late but emf 5 can be determined from jumps of 4, 5, or 6 on the graph i believe. if you see them frequently its likely emf 5 but you should probably confirm it inside the map

This is my setting for those that want a high reward no evidence; Starting Sanity: 75 Sanity Pill Restoration: 20 Sanity Drain: 200 Sprinting: On Player Speed: 100 Flashlights: On Lose items and consumables: On Ghost Speed: 100 Roaming Frequency: High Change Favourite room: High Activity Level: Low Event Frequency: Low Friendly Ghost: Off Grace Period: 5s Hunt Duration: High Kills Extend Hunts: Off Evidence Given: 0 Setup Time: 0 Weather: Heavy Rain Doors Starting Open: High Number of Hiding Places: None Sanity Monitor: On Activity Monitor: On Fuse Box at Start of Contract: On Fuse Box Visible on Map: Iff Cursed Possessions: 0 These settings will give you an 8x multiplier. If you want to make things harder for more reward you can; Have breaker off at start, no sanity and activity board, 0 starting sanity, 0 sanity pill restoration, no sprint, no flashlight, lower grace period and increase ghost speed/reduce player speed. This would be really hard though so the current settings are best for still finding out the ghost with 0 evidence and putting you in a good spot to get setup and ready.
