Thank you for caring for these babies. Their outcome, if you had not stepped in, is painful to think of. I understand the round up needs, but I don’t understand how anyone could throw these horses into slaughter . They are young and wild, and I wish there was someplace they could go to remain wild, but there isn’t right now . I don’t have money to fund your efforts right now, so I’m hoping that the little bit you get from video watching is helpful.

@@topazzsky two bald face babies and the appy we had adoption applications for horses like these for over two years . Some adopters Christmas 🎄 is going to be exciting ! But they want them trained first

You do such a good job but if I could offer one suggestion? Please keep your voice lower? The more excited you get the pitch of your voice goes up and it makes the horses especially the younger ones extremely uneasy (scared) . It’s shrill and like screaming at them. You are doing so well with the shots and stuff in their mouth! You two make a great pair as you work well together.

@@daledapprich3122 thank you but they actually like it , it probably sounded loud to you like the metal Clanging but if you talk to them in a sing some voice it helps. If you see how scared they were before they got in the chute and how calm they came out . I learned that years ago when I had my kids lol and horses really are not any different Thanks for the confidence on the rest !!

Why are they separated from their mothers at such a young age?

@@patriciamaclennan5634 I think because of the lack of grazing the moms may have dried up and maybe these were abandoned or perhaps they are orphans. I don’t know for sure.

Yes, I follow all three named above, and HAWS in Canada who try to help Canadian wild horses. I also follow The Big Hoof Foundation in Amarillo, Texas, who mainly rescue Belgian draught horses (most, if not all, from the Amish). Of their 70+ horses, and some donkeys, 36 since the beginning of September! All these rescues need donor help, it is the only way they can do the work they do. How lucky these foals are that they have come to FTLOTH ❤
