Ok. For language learning this was very good episode,and it is for me good when there are a lot of new words. But...,with all do respect to everyone I would really like to hear what it's like for some other strangers to live and work or study in Germany -for example Italians,French,Dutch,Slovakian,Hungarian. I know that refugee crisis is actual in Germany but for language learning at least for me I would really like to know what it's like for those strangers -how did they overcome language problem,how did they fit in German society and what do they think about your country.
@user-pf7oq9bk9o8 жыл бұрын
Definitely! No better person to ask about how hard it is to integrate into German society than the foreigners themselves.
@lisamarieschnee8 жыл бұрын
+silenzzio The nationality has no influence in german society. You will be accepted if you fit in a certain group. What i've always observed is, that foreigners tend to stay with others who have the same nationality. I don't see mixed groups with germans and foreigners very often (especially for muslims).
@silenzzio8 жыл бұрын
+Krydda Well,I was mostly wondering what it's like for them to leare german language-because it is not the same for all. Some languages are similar to german and others are totaly diffrent.
@outplayed45116 жыл бұрын
Krydda "they dont mix" situation that you mentioned is it because of foreigners or germans, because i understand a foreigner would be shy and it would be more difficult for him/her to mix in, so maybe germans should be more sincere i heard that generally they dont talk with strangers so often, maybe those are just college students or maybe im just misinformed.

@Prosper0h7 жыл бұрын
Hi I am not from Easy German however I'd say it depends on the country you are interested in. If you are more interested in visiting Austria and Switzerland than Germany, then you should obviously learn Austrian or Swiss versions of the German language! However keep in mind that these dialects will be, on the other hand, hardly usable out of these countries (especially the Swiss version, I don't know for the Austrian one), on the contrary to standard German which has spreaded more. Also I'd guess you wouldn't be completely helpless there if you spoke only standard German.
@rabah43067 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for ur reponse :)
@funkylosik7 жыл бұрын
You can learn Standard German for Austria. I have learned some by watching Easy German + Duolingo and people do understand me. Of course, there is an Austrian dialect, but language is the same, TV is the same so people would understand you. You'll learn much faster and more by talking to people though ;)
@bakarandguladze7 жыл бұрын
if you speak and understand normal high German (Hochdeutsch), you will have no problems in Austria (at least in Vienna, Salzburg and other rather famous cities). Swiss German is like a separate language and even Germans have trouble understanding it but Swiss speak Hochdeutsch as well.
