It’s crazy how much pc gaming has moved on. I still remember when my brother got a GTX 285 and it was the best gpu at the time now it can’t even play csgo to be honest it’s sad because those days gpu prices used to be lower than 500$

You would probably find my benchmarks interesting. I have an xfx Ultra 790i triple sli board with a socket 775 6700 quad core CPU that is sadly locked. I overclocked it a bit via the FSB to a stable 3.90 from 2.66. The GPU is a GTX 970 and it has 8 gigs of ddr3, it plays doom 2016 at max settings at 1080p without ever dipping under 50 during the most intense combat and usually runs around 60-75 fps otherwise. Wast of a 970, but I got it used for 150 bucks a few years back before there was a card shortage.

@@KLGamers my first pc was x58 and had the i7 980x 6 core. Ended up selling it some time ago for an x5675. You can oc them to 4.5-4.6 ghz and put in a 1070 or 1660 super. I had mine with a 980 ti without an issue
