Gotta say I was hoping for more than low single digit performance increase. Speaking as someone who couldn't give a monkeys over a bespoke AI accelerator, given I'll have a system that already supports CUDA in the gfx card, I'm gonna sit back and wait for the 9800x3d before I make my choice about upgrading.

This looks like a great commercial-use cpu, but not much cop as a "fun" cpu. PC enthusiasts probably won't be looking at these CPUs and thinking "Wow, I've just GOTTA throw out my so-very-old & useless 14700/14900 system and invest in this amazingly improved new platform!!!". Well, I won't, at least... However, nicely done presentation from the SCAN team.

The only 'positive' review on KZbin 🤨 the Ultra series has been panned by everyone. every where, a gen to miss I think, unless Intel/MOBO manufacturers come up with some 'minor' miracle updates, on top of that no definitive answer from Intel, as to whether the next iteration of these chips will be supported on the 1851 platform.
