Chill. They're working like crazy to get it to us. They have 100k+ orders from big names like walmart, amazon, and gamestop. Not to mention the logistics of the 86 announced Games for the Amico and working with sega,sesame street,hotwheels and other big brands on their respective games.

@ Al Gore Rhythm Intellivision has 4 offices if I remember right California, Utah, Europe, Dubai because when you are setting up for a global launch it takes more than 1 team at more than 1 location. Utah has game testers and customer support folks. Where is the product I imagine that the logistics teams are working to secure parts have you not been paying attention to the massive parts shortages over tons of different industries and the massive shipping delays going on? The world is a mess right now

Intellivision has a long history and is not just an Upstart.From 1980 to 1983, more than 3 million intellivision consoles were sold.

I've seen the BOX of their physical game products but I meant we wanna see what's inside. The console being assembled wasn't really what I had in mind tho, was looking for like a bunch of them in a group on the line not the assembly of just 1. Wanted it like when the Atari VCS did it. And 86 games is cool, but could we get footage of those ones? We get almost the same game previews every time :\

I’m optimistic about the Amico. I know of Tommy’s history. I was a big fan of some of his work. I’m also a big fan of Jeff Minter (who?). But I reached out to Intellivision early on because I was interested in coding on the Amico but never heard back. I think they are not looking for indie developers right now. So I think a great video would be the 40,000 units and some info on distribution. I don’t think we’ll see that so I’m back to hoping I’ll get my pre-order soon.

Just read this about Intellivisions vp of entertainment acquisition and my mind is blown. Vice President of Talent Development at NBC Universal where he identified, attracted and retained talent for placement into projects and created shows essentially from the ground up. Such credits as Talent Producer include “The Celebrity Apprentice”, “Hollywood Game Night””, “Who Do You Think You Are?”, “Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants (8 Seasons)”, “Last Comic Standing (10 Years)”, “The Voice”, “America’s Got Talent”, and “Running Wild with Bear Grylls”.

was very interesting to see this office, completely different feel from the CA office. The CA office felt more casual and game themed and fun. The UT office felt more clinical and just business structured.
