Well done, really frequent lightning. The trough that triggered these was supposed to be much further south, but the edge was aligned Picton - Wollongnong. The whole SW Sydney basin appeared to become one large storm complex. I was around Picton, but never chase into Sydney.

Thats a pretty impressive amount of lightning! You captured the event well ,and have a good view to the north-northeast it seems. I cannot believe the amount of storms you get in Sydney compared to here in nowra which is pretty much next to none. Only 120kms away but in terms of weather might as well be a light year away.

Yeah it's pretty crazy aye. I think it has something to do with the Waragamba Dam or the Hawkesbury River moisture. I'm so glad I have a view like this facing N - NE like u said. Appin & Wollongong had some good ones yesterday although Nowra had I'm pretty sure nothing. Thank u & Thanks for watching
