Hey Greg, i hv noticed something in your style of pulling, are your backpressure, static pronation, rising numbers way ahead of your cupping ones(low cup multi-spinner). To me it seems you don't engage your cup as much as before. Is there any underlying pain or something else? P.S i might be completely wrong, just want your insight as i know you recently had an ulnar side injury on your right hand wrist.

@@dipankarghosh1993 my backpressure and static pronation are way head of all my other types of lifts. Relatively speaking, my rising is a little worse than my cupping & finger containment. I’ve been focusing a lot on improving those areas over the past year, but to limited success, mostly my own fault due to traveling and competing too much. I’ve been working around my carpal tunnel syndrome since August-September of last year, so progress has been slow for cupping and fingers. Similarly, I had a small injury to my wrist from going too heavy on rising earlier this year, so that progress has stalled as well.

@@EastsideArmWrestling Appreciate the detailed reply greg, yeah i agree, balance in the hand much more needed to grow overall. Same Thing happened to me while focusing on rising too much. Now i hv modified my training routine to include more ulnar deviation or chopping exercise. Also i think cupping is fundamental to any style of pulling, i have dedicated 60% of my training volume to cupping, lets see if i get any better results. P.S. you r right, Too much table training too often hinders progress.

@@sun6262- if you’re talking about strict curl then I’d say 80kg would start to be impressive
