This Intense and dynamic, power yoga flow is a total body workout without putting any weight in the hands or wrists! Expect to sweat, shake and hopefully have a laugh and be playful at the same time.
In this sequence we have fun exploring:
✅ Preparing and building toward elegant backbend Dancer's Pose
✅ Intense hip, butt and thigh strengthening, toning, and stretching
✅ Fire up the deep core and get your abs burning
✅ Work towards single leg squats
✅ Strengthen shoulders with forearm planks and dolphin pose (optional, if you have elbow or shoulder injuries I offer modifications).
✅ For me, yoga is absolutely not about weight loss or torching belly fat, but that is an inevitable byproduct with a sequence like this*
*For the record, yoga to me is about freedom, peace, and inner strength. It's about feeling at home and fabulous in the skin you're in whatever your shape, skin tone, gender expression, or physical limitation).
This sequence is definitely not suitable for beginners though!

Me three! I broke my wrist a few months ago and though I'm almost fully recovered I still can't withstand the pressure from plank position. I found you when looking for wrist free classes and haven't looked back! I usually do the 30-60 min practice and feel fantastic afterwards. You push me just the right amount and I love the optional binds that I can work towards. Looking forward to trying your other classes in a few weeks when I've fully recovered. Thank you so much, you're by far my favourite yogi bear 🙏😌

I found you while nursing sore wrists and must say... thank GOD! You are so talented and such a beautiful spirit. I get lost in the moment while practicing with you and time just disappears for awhile. You could make a 4 hour video and I would do it 😂!!! I used to practice only with Adriene but you have intensified my practice and strengthened my body. Oh the dreaded pistol squat... I will have it down very soon at this rate! You are the bomb! You have won a loyal follower. Much love! 💕

This is one of my favourite classes so far. Wonderful pace and intensity and some wonderful challenges. It's so rewarding and interesting noticing my body growing and changing daily in response to tumbling out of bed and into this every sunrise. You've turned me into a morning exercise person for the first time in my life! The time I spend here in the mornings stays deeply with me through long days confined to my desk. Most of these comments are older but..things live on the internet forever (for better or worse). I love this so much! Thank you!! I have a major wrist injury that means I will never be flowing with downward dogs and chaturangas. My mind tends to go to all the bad places and that I will never be able to do the challenging/fun/good things. In a moment of extra despair I was lucky enough to find your videos and remember that flows are possible (AND challenging AND fun) without using wrists. I just needed the guidance and you provided that along with hope. Thanks

This video is my favorite wrist free workouts you have posted so far. I'm dealing with an elbow injury, and I was concerned about not getting a strong session in without planks etc. This one got me sweating and moving. Thank you for making these and your wonderful attitude.

Thank you! I initially started practicing your wrist-free flows as a way to keep active while recovering from a pec strain, but I now see that this practice has an enormous amount of intrinsic value, and covers so much that the more routine power flows do not. My wrists are fine but I suffer from unknown chronic neck and trap pain whenever I activate them. Pain started after my spinal fusion surgeries. So, I avoid poses like downdog/ plank/ anything that really puts stress on my trap or neck area, so this was the first time trying a 'wrist free' video because I noticed there's no DD/planks and it was the first yoga class I was able to completely get through without quitting early due to pain. Thank you. Can't wait to do more.

Just writing this comment for the algorithm :) I've been doing these hands free flows from you for quite some weeks now and I'm getting so much better at them.. hardly any wobbeling just the pistol squats oh my.. they are too much 2.0 for me.. maybe in a year (or 3) I can do those too. You often ask for suggestions so... 🤗 I am a Patreon subscriber of your channel but sometimes I only have 30-40 min to practise and I'd love it if you could create more of these wrist free vinyasa flows focusing on neck & shoulder release and core strenghtening. Much love and gratitude! 💕 Ps. I think there was a sequence that was only done on one side, around min. 15 mark - with the standing hip semi circles. I went back today for the same practice and replayed the same sequence on the other side to even things out ;)

I have been practicing yoga for years...I am currently healing a repetitive strain injury in my wrist and was feeling soooo frustrated and overwhelmed thinking I couldn't do yoga until I was healed...and then...I found YOU!!
