Thank you for sharing this new vocabulary quiz, Wes! As always, this one was both useful and interesting. Nevertheless, I found it hard to figure out the word you were referring to, even though I knew almost all of them, except for “swerve” and “wistful”. And, to be honest, I tend to be somewhat disappointed each time I choose a synonym which-as you yourself say-could be used in the corresponding context, but which is not the one you’ve provided in your example sentence. Please don’t take this comment as some sort of criticism, Wes! I honestly appreciate your effort to help your students improve their English skills! I simply prefer the multiple choice questions, because otherwise one might come up with more than just one “correct” answer. Kind regards, Anna 🌺
