the shit dont work. a straight left while slipping to the right makes more sense. who the hell leans to the right while throwing a right uppercut at the same time? its crazy how so many people fall for shit like this.

manny pacquiao straight left to counter a orthodox jab is a great example of "intercepting" counters. can be used at the highest level of combat to the amateurs. this is fake as fuck and wouldnt apply to any real combat situation. jeff. please post videos of you doing this during a real fight.

Jeez, it's training the form for a technique. Even in boxing they teach the form for the 1-2 or the slip and counter slowly at the beginning to get the correct positioning, and no boxer is going to sit there or move in slow motion in real life either.

Grabbing over top of the arm like that seems strange unless maybe you have a distinct height advantage. Plus just skip the grab and throw a strike with that arm. Not to mention that is a hard counter to land.

I know this is just a combo drill, but that last side kick looks more likely to off-balance the kicker than hurt the opponent. I would change the roundhouse from the body to the head instead.. kicking all the way through, and set up a back kick to the liver. Head, head, body.

It amazes me the people who criticize and critique when more than likely the ones who have never put in rounds. Big facts for you guys, a win record in street fighting and a win record in actually fighting are on opposite spectrums. The point of the drill is intercept/counter using the opponent’s momentum and your own timing. This is what we call a “drill”. It’s used for “practice”. If you practice, you can actually perform. Weird huh?

First interception is sweet, but could you please pressure test it in sparring? Personally I've had problems with the angle and precision. I'd love to see you doing better than me. I've had two problems you might overcome: Problem 1: given that you attack with your front hand, the soulders mobility allows at most a vertical trajectory to his head, combined with the short range of an uppercut that menat for me: I had to stay dangerously close to the cross to get a real shot at my oppenents head. Problem 2: given that my uppercut aims at his head/face and the trajectory is at most vertical, he can easily block my attack easily with his chest by just moving forward or turning his chest clockwise. Please pressure test it, that would be awesome
