Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

The music wagon's track is "Train rush" from the OST of "A hat in time", if anyone is wondering. (there is also a remix named "Trainwreck of electroswing" that is nice to listen to as well)

Just to give some insights in why some of the wheels are locked, they lock when there us no player sitting un the creation: mikauo, me and iirc blockmaster bypassed it by adding a bulldawg engine activated by speed sensors, on mine I also used the pistons, just to be sure. (The pistons also allow for multiple locomotives if you need extra speed)

There needs to be a train heist!! Mini cannons on a small creation that tries to stop the train while it barrels down the tracks. Maybe a defensive weapon on one of the train cars, a turret of some sort:) Great video, keep up the cool content:)

Actually this is the train from A Hat In Time. He didn't just put random paint, it's surprisingly accurate. Even the music is actually a good remake of the train theme from the game.

This video was amazing, and I can't wait till they add customisable maps to the vanilla game lol. Mechanic Multiplayer Monday idea: Farmbot mech battles. You each build a mech capable of battling farmbots, but you make it out of a non durable material. Or you just battle each other with the mechs.

The end wagon even has The Conductor, the owner of the train, and the board is a terms and conditions captcha joke from the game. I love the detail

Hey Scrapman you should do a multiplayer Monday where there are 2 teams each team containing 2 players, there will be team A and team B. Team A objective is to ride the train to a certain objective with a cargo one player will drive the train and one will defend the cargo like in a gunner seat and then team B's objective is to steal or destroy the cargo were either both players fly a plane or both players drive a land vehicle or one player drives a land vehicle and one player fly's a plane. if team A gets the cargo to the objective location they win but if team B destroys or steals it they win. when I saw this map that's like the first thing I thought of like a train being robbed by bandits.

Multiple evolution race: Basically the same but u have ur own chains of evolution, so u modify ur creation 3 times and choose the best and modify it 3 times again New rule: you cannot test the vehicle while building, that's what the race/battle is for

i feel like there's gonna be a multiplayer were you have to chase the train on cars while you defend it also the cars must be a little faster than the train and has bombs every train wagon has its own gun to defend(including the train itself) maximum of 2 train wagons, no thrusters, bomb must be partially armoured, maximum of 1 gun per wagon(except for the train the train must have 2 guns) and bandits win if they destroy, or derail the train or the train defenders win if they make it to the station.

Make a episode where it’s a 2v2, 1v2 or 1v1. For a 1v1, One person designs a train with a turret on top. The other designs a car with a turret on top. The cars goal is to derail the train before it reaches the objective while shooting, and dodging obstacles on the path. For a 1v2 one person designs the train, the other 2 drive a car while one drives and the other shoots the turret on top of the car. For a 2v2, one person on the train team designs the main train, the other designs the turret carriage. For the car team it’s the same as the 1v2.

Now we can see in mulitplayer monday, Time trial train, starts with 1 wagon, and 1 power core the next round will add 3 wagon and 2 power core the next round will be 5 wagon and 3 power core each time wagon or the locomotive is breakdown it need to respawn on the track again the timer will be still counting from the 1 end of the map into the station (i guess that only one)
