I lived in a third world country like this and, surprisingly, despite being shodilly made, they last surprisingly long. Some appliances i bought from pakistan that were made in factories like this still work to this day despite it being almost a decade. Which speaks about the quality control some of the more fancier factories have since they break in less than a decade.

Where is the Copper ????? It looks like Aluminum only !!!! A good electrical cable is made out of Copper. Everything else is not safe (and scrap) . . . . And don't tell me these are tinned copper wires, they clearly are not.

I still wonder that the inner wires do not constantly break with all the bends in their production process. Aluminum gets brittle already after 1-2 bends. But yes, Aluminum is a cheap replacement for use cases which require less flexibility. High voltage overhead lines by the way are made from Aluminum too, due to the weight.
