Yuup, I started pre-packing and pre-weighing my clothes. Saves an insane amount of time when it comes to shipping. Literally just print all the labels in 1 go and pick and stick

Carrie At Home and her husband are killing it. They can't grow their store with their 30 per day listing because they often sell more than they list. They focus heavy on sell through and making around 12.00 profit average. They nearly hit 2000 items in their store, but now back under 1800. That is a nice problem to have. Another seller that kills it with high sell through good items is Big Yumbo. He looks like he doesn't give a damn, but the guy knows his stuff and works so hard with his sourcing and learning brands. Another store that can't grow because he sells so much vs. his 30 a day listing habit.

Carrie At Home could grow if they were able to find more of those $12 profit items. I’m sure they would find a way to list more. But have to take into account it’s a 2 person team which is a great advantage. Ya Big Yumbo is very sharp. But it’s not so much how much you list and sell but how much you can find. Also the time it takes for one person to balance all the tasks involved during the week. 30-40 is about the limit. Unless your Tech who did 150 I think but it had to have take him a tremendous amount of time. Time in his prime he traded for the success of his store. I don’t value business or success so much to trade the time with my wife and kid.

@@TaylorExchange Carrie is planning to expand, but by learning shirts that have similar sell through to the pants and jeans they sell. Honestly, until recently it never really hit me to source daily or almost daily to avoid the filler items. I mean I heard tech and his story of sourcing everyday, but didn't really hit me until I saw yumbo and carrie. I actually live in the area where Tech does and usually I would go to the flea market and 1 thrift to get all items for 1 or 2 weeks in one day. We are moving to Michigan soon though so I am preparing for the mindset of multiple thrifts and places several times a week. I think I will be alright up there after seeing the resale brothers and Caylee Elaines stores in the next state over.

Hey Sean, excellent concept, content, and execution! There seems to be a never-ending parade of reseller channels across the transom, new faces every time I sign on to KZbin.. perhaps it’s the logical parallel to and extension of the growing numbers of resellers joining the ranks. Next, I think that 12:43 it’s both bold and commendable on your part to volunteer to be a spokesperson of sorts for all these channels that deserve more exposure and recognition. And I do believe you are humble enough to be open to suggestion as you stated at the end of this 13 min, short, lively rapid pace video.. so two thumbs up!

Hey Sean, what size of clear storage poly bags do you recommend & use for jacket/ coat sizes ?

I don’t put jackets and coat in the bags or inventory system. I have a rolling rack for those. I suppose you could get something big like 14.5x19 or bigger

I don’t think it’s a good idea to put inventory in polymailer before it’s purchased. Either way, a purchased item will need to be put in one, so you aren’t saving time. Meanwhile, there are times when you will want to be able to see the product…like confirming it’s the correct item before you sell it. So for that reason, usually makes sense just to store in transparent sleeve, outside of polymailer

Theirs something to be said about trusting you labeled it and typed it in correct so you don’t have to check if it’s the item that sold but ya I hear what you’re saying.

@@TaylorExchange yeah true, but there are other reasons, like if you don’t end up selling. I recall you saying your older stuff you were going to sell for $1 in a garage sale. If they were all in polymailers, you’d have to take them all out and loose polymailers everywhere. Keeping them in polymailers feels like just a reordering of steps that’s not going to save time and only has potential for headache.

I usually leave the hangers on the end of a rack so they're easy for them to grab.... (or if there's a new rack out, i'll hang them on the top bar for them)

The only thing about buying things in your size is that you don't want to sell it because you like it. Then end up with a huge wardrobe. Also I may be a hoarder lol.

Do u live in a cave? He's been selling on ebay for like 20 yrs, he USED to be the top reseller in men's and many other category. He is stepping back now after making millions amd many other branch off businesses.
