I was at a mcdonald’s downtown with my then 3 year old son in his stroller. A random woman picked a fight with me saying the stroller was blocking everyone’s way, when I had pushed it to the side. Two high school students backed me up, helped me get my food, opened the door for me and walked with me to the subway entrance to make sure the woman won’t bother us anymore. I wish I could see them again and tell them thank you again.

I was on a plane headed to a loved one’s funeral, and my anxiety had never been worse. I was shaking for the entire 6 hour flight, having a full blown panic attack when we hit some turbulence. I had my hands propped against the seat in front of me for most of the flight, tensed and truly terrified. A kind man in a cowboy hat and the most killer salt and pepper mustache I’d ever seen - quite honestly he was the spittin image of Sam Elliott - reached over and would gently set his hand on my arm every so often, calming me down the best he could with quiet words of reassurance. All through the flight, he’d warn me about things like “those bumps are because we’re goin’ over the Rockies” or “count to 3minutes, most turbulence never lasts longer than 3 minutes”. He helped me breathe, he didn’t judge, and he didn’t ask - he just was so unbelievably kind. After we landed, by the time I had come back to myself and began to gather my things, I looked up and he’d already left the plane. To this day, I want so much to be able to thank that kind cowboy stranger for getting me through the scariest flight of my life. ❤️

Jasmine sorry that you went through that sister, I know plane can be terrifying for many people. with a new perspective death would seem way less scary. the following observation is said in general: some societies diminish the role of faith, laugh at it, yet are scared of Death and makes it taboo and even avoid talking about aging, diseases, even old people are NOT frequently shown on TV in many countries. Have you noticed that? Just sharing our perspective: If a person is a believer in the One true God, and do good deeds he or she won't worry that much of death. At least it is nowhere close to non believer worries. The way we understand death, is literally moving from one state to the next. Between us and the next realm is our little muscle, the heart, once it stop beating we are immediately transported to the next transitory life (where dead are fully aware and know if they are in good shape or not.." it is a different realm but even more real than our sleeping dream. we wait there till the resurrection day and Day of Judgement will start. The transitory stage, Barzakh, would fly fast too as if it were an afternoon even for people who have been dead for thousands of years!! this life and the waiting time would appear to us as if it were a half a day (according to Quran), like when we go to bed and sleep for 8 hours. So scholar in my faith says that when a person dies, his Day of Judgement practically starts. Here is a little proof; remember your life in preschool, elementary school even high school? these days are gone, just faint memories (if you are old enough) while you are still living. If you were to write about your elementary and middle school days, the moments worthwhile that you remember may not fill 2 or 4 pages for those 10 years (writing without repeating.. ). So the totality of our life would appear on that day as an afternoon; "It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. " English translation of Quran of 79-46. The choices of belief is now, later is the result. God gave assurance and comfort for the believers who do good deeds, help others, etc even at the agony of death (before death).. and angles give bad news to the bad ones in that stage,etc.. test this promise to see if what I say is true or false: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Allah Almighty says: Whoever comes with a good deed will have the reward of ten like it and even more. Whoever comes with an evil deed will be recompensed for one evil deed like it or he will be forgiven. Whoever draws close to me by the length of a hand, I will draw close to him by the length of an arm. Whoever draws close to me by the length of an arm, I will draw close to him by the length of a fathom. Whoever comes to me walking, I will come to him running. And whoever meets me with enough sins to fill the earth, not associating any idols with me, I will meet him with as much forgiveness as possible. " Hadith. if one pray WITH SINCERITY "My creator please guide me to your path, amin" he will receive an answer guaranteed!! God will give him signs.. If one internalize this and lead a life with correct belief and do good he or she would not fear as much as others, God promise tranquility to the believers even if they are tested with hardship: we are all tested. I really felt your fear through your words, and I understand what it must have meant for you flying and especially after a loss of a loved one. May God (Allah in Arabic, Allaha in Aramaic the native language of prophet Jesus, peace be upon him) grant you guidance, love and envelope you with mercy. Amin In Arabic (Amin in Aramaic too , amen in Hebrew) the three are sister languages. anyone, Feel free to ask, debate it, refute it, or think I am indoctrinated while many think they are not indoctrinated despite having their info from the lying media.. that is truly fine :) , I don't mind it, we can reason this reality we see around us, this life is a dot in an eternal lasting life, feel free to share your thought, I am open-minded (any human should be ) .. have a look at "the meaning of life" by Muslim spoken word, it talks about that, the video is truly an eye opener and had millions of views and many made reaction to it. Have a great day sister.

That’s very kind of you. But you should consider the fact that not everyone thinks the same like you (you being good person). I also feel encouraged to help others watching these videos. But also, it’s a trend to post some videos of everything you do on SNS platform , and sometimes even stage the scene for attracting others / gaining fame. Maybe that’s why other people spread negativity I guess, it’s the nature of people to speak ill what ever happens. They want to imply that their opinion is the truest, relevant etc. That’s why there exist hate on every aspect no matter what you do (good or bad), people just like to comment on everything without even thinking. *But nevertheless, if you’re genuine onto helping others. Nothing wouldn’t bother you. You just help regardless of the outcome.* That’s what I believe.

That is the thing, you guys are being narrow minded. Not thinking of other possibilities, whether you think like Reece or TheMindFedder. We dont know what is going on inside other peoples head, sometimes they do good things geniunely but gets judged and commented negatively and vice versa. Just think of positive stuff and if u dont like it, keep it with yourself don't express in the form of hate. Thats the apt way imo. I personally don't prefer to make a video of myself helping others or similar things and post it online. But many people find it okay or feel happy seeing these videos. I personally don't want to fight for my opinion for being the absolute, and spread hate. It is how it is, if you try to validate ur opinion, it leads to hate.

I’d like to point out that waving or stopping to say hello to a homeless person you see all the time can really make their day…or many times more. Most people don’t realize how much just saying hello helps them feel that they are finally not invisible. You don’t have to offer money or anything. God bless them :) Islam is an arabic word that means Submission or Surrender to God the One and Only, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, we have to thank him by submitting to him by ou free will or later when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124,000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism to purity and true monotheism. Many Religions that we know, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but with the time, their original teachings and scriptures were corrupted with polytheism or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays. Which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Allah means the only and one God, the God of all prophets, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgement, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this life and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : 19 Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! 20 Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. 21 Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. 22 It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (Translated by Muhammad Asad) Salam (Peace).

My therapist said I should learn to ask for help because I've been on my own my entire life (I was a foster kid) and I don't have a support system. So when I find myself in a jam, I either resort to petty crime or self injury. It's been four years since I've been in that space, and I've been careful to not have problems, but life still happens. I am sitting here extremely stressed out because I care for 22 cats and there food ran out last night. There was a colony of cats when I moved into my place, and I decided to care for them . It started with one, and here we are 5 years later and I'm caring for 22 . I pay for their food, spay/neuter, and medical care . I'm on a fixed income and I've always made it through the month, I guess inflation just caught up with me. I have an immediate need for cat food and I don't get paid until the first of the month. I need cat food to get me through the next two weeks. I don't qualify for a loan, I have no credit cards, and I have no family or friends. I am what people would call the "crazy cat lady", not because I'm crazy, but simply because I don't trust people and I find the company of cats safer. If anyone is willing to purchase a bag of cat food from my local Walmart, I can go over there to pick up. I don't know what else to do- I'm in a hot desert with limited resources. I don't need ongoing help, just a couple bags of cat food. Just purchase the food with pickup person Amy Renee at Walmart @ 1731 E Ave J Lancaster CA 93535

I have many many many kind stories to share. I could tell you one right now that I will never forget. we lived in North Carolina in the mid-70s. It was the month of December when this happened, we were poor and had a large Family, five sisters and one brother. Both of my parents were hearing impaired and Would trying to find work anywhere they could find. At the time there was a lot of discrimination against hearing impaired people. My mom was blessed was able to find a job that hired her as a dishwasher. At the time we didn’t have a home to live in so we would park in the parking lot where my mom worked so when she would get off at work she would walk straight to the car with her family in it. one day early in the morning I guess you could say the manager saw that we were all sleeping in the car and invited us inside to the restaurant where my mom worked at and fed us all, this was a small town so everybody knew of my mom and dad and my siblings. Meanwhile we started going to this church and the people at church knew of us and our situation. One of the church members owned a property and allowed us to move into this townhouse and said my mom only had to pay five dollars a month for rent. They would come and visit us and make sure we were OK and they noticed that my mom decorated The wall in the shape of a Christmas tree because we couldn’t afford a Christmas tree this was only a week before Christmas. One night there was a knock at our door we asked who it was and they said it was the police department and the fire department, We told our parents and my parents open the door and they handed my mom a turkey, boxes of food and brought in tons of clothing, toys, bicycle and a tree. I could never forget that night. My mom cried so hard and offered the money for everything but they said no, that the gifts that we received was a blessing from God. I will never forget the kindness of the people in North Carolina. God is good.🙌🏼❤️✝️❤️🙌🏼

Cause for whatever reason, bad news is all people care about. In the 80s I think, there was a newspaper in California that only printed the good news (firefighters saving a cat, someone finding their wedding ring, kids soccer team winning, things like that) but went out of business cause not enough people cared about hearing the good news.

somehow you are right, but I think we should focus on the bad things even more, to finally do the step to delete them. There had grown too many in the last decades crushing peoples lifes every single day... and only acting is changing something not only focusing on what ever things, good or bad. I see many people only focus but not akting at all.

These remind me of when I used to work my first job as a fast food guy. There was an old fella that was always very sociable with us whenever he was around, was extremely friendly, never caused any trouble. He used to always have a walker with him, and there was one night my shift crew was leaving, and we saw he looked pretty upset. When we asked what was wrong, he'd told us that someone had stolen his walker from him, and he had certainly needed it. My crew and I all looked at each other, told the old fella to give us a minute, we went back inside, each pitched in some money from what we'd made that night, walked to a near by thrift store and looked at their selection of walkers (there weren't that many) but we still made sure we got the best one they had, and when the cashiers saw that it wasn't just *one* person buying the walker, they asked what was going on. We told them what happened, and the cashiers even knocked off some of the price for us. That old man was in tears when we came back, set the walker up for him, and encouraged him to try it. Another day, manager asked me to make an quick run to the super market that was also in the little shopping center where my workplace was to pick up some supplies as we were low on some of our stuff, and there was a homeless veteran sitting outside. I ended up stopping and talking with him a while, he told me a bit about what he had done in the service and such, and we carried on the conversation until I told him that I did have to grab some things and get back to work. He said he understood, and also hated to ask if I could spare him some money as he was hungry. I took a twenty out of my wallet and folded it up to hide how much it was, not to be rude, but to surprise him, went in got what I needed, and when I got back out, he's shaking and crying so much that he can barely even say his thanks. I told him where my work place was and to come get something to eat, that I'd speak to my manager to see what we could do for him. Both those instances were almost 5 years ago, but the reactions of those two people to simple acts of kindness while being down on their luck has never left me.

And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. 21 Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. 22 It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (Translated by Muhammad Asad) Salam (Peace).

the tears started rolling when the color blind kid got his new, life changing glasses. sometime in our world, we forget how a lot of people people don't have things as good as we do. So when he got to see color for the first time, i couldn't help but cry tears of happiness!!! Its amazing to know and to see that our world isn't entirely rude, snobby people and that there are good, kind, and respectful people too.❤

The beauty and humanity is there, has always been there --it is people's perception of what to call "worth looking at" that has been messed with, by other people who are simply ill in their souls, and have a little power. Instead of giving them our power, like Bill gates and co, let's stop them and heal them, starting by our honesty and kindness at home, and with each other. Question any act o unkindness--it is always done by someone lost and desperate, truy lost. Kindness, coming from the word to recognize our own "kind" and that we are all connected, is truthfulness. ; )

I feel like telling a story of the sweetest act of kindness I've ever experienced and will never forget. I hope this wonderful woman sees this somehow. It happened in a really low time in my life, I hated myself and barely had the courage to be seen by anyone. On this particular day I was at church with my sister and her friends walking to the children's classes, when a woman approached our group. She wanted to know what the teenage service was like. While everyone was talking I kept my head down and stared at my feet. She looked over to me and told me to lift my head. So I did, then she told me, " Your beautiful there is no need to shy your stunning you really our." I was so happy after she had said that to me. I don't really think she knows how much that made my hole life, not just my day. God bless that sweet lady.💗

I was 14 years old. I had grown from a normal size little girl into a giant of 5 ft 10 in tall and 170 lb. I was so ashamed of my giant body I could not even look at anyone. I hated myself. I was embarrassed to be seen. I saw my elderly neighbor who was about 4'-11" struggling to get her trash can out to the curb. I did not want to make her feel like she was disabled but I also wanted to help her. So I just went across the street and distracted her and carried her trash can out. She spoke very little English. She looked up at me and said, "So big!!! So beautiful!!!" Those 4 words changed my self hatred into self acceptance. No one ever called me beautiful before. I never had a boyfriend in high school because I was so huge but I always remembered that I am big and beautiful. Notice how I went over to do a small favor for her and she gave me so much more. I'm 65 now and I never forgot her kind words.

You are very welcome, we all have passed through awkward moments in live specially in teen time, beyond that age we should realize by experience that we are beyond appearance.. and those who can't see realize deserve mercy .. at a deeper level, they are roaming and going thorough life seeking sight "pleasure", can you imagine realizing the mistake when too late or very old, or after a divorce due to basing one decision on mainly physical appearance!! if you are spiritual then you may like this "Verily Allah does not look to your faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart and to your deeds." he created us and grant us our special little hearts, that beat more with kindness and shrink when seeing harshness for a reason!! You can me here or in my comment section whatever thoughts you have etc.. May God make you MORE special, envelope you with his mercy and light and give you success in both worlds. sensitivity is great trait even when other do not appreciate it, we represent ourselves regardless of circumstances and some harsh people. That lady's words made you and me appreciate her, you see! and you probably did not pay attention to her appearance? you saw her with your heart! Life depth is way beyond people with lazy mind and souls. Have a great day!! 😻

I love how the man with the lambo was trying to look all stoic but he was crying with how happy the other guy was at being able to ride with him. And you can always tell in sports when the players love the game rather than the prize when their opponent gets injured of falls in some way. True sportsmanship feels like a rarity nowadays or that it's forced.

Was on the receiving end of a pay it forward. We were going through financial difficulty, bought my daughter a pie as a treat for doing well in school, on the way to the car she dropped it. She was crying and I did not know what to do as we had no more money, when a stranger came up and asked if he could take her inside to choose another one, the smile on her face was something I will never forget.
