Hi, after almost 40 years of marriage, 2children and 4grandchildren, and always having a mortgage from several house moves, we have just bought our retirement/forever home. A 2bedroomed bungalow in a beautiful village. Instead of traffic busses and fire engines whizzing by all day and a lot of the night, we woke up on our first morning to a horse and rider trotting by wishing us a good morning. Your tips and tricks have been so valuable, as we have downsized dramatically, but we love it. We're mortgage free and in just 2short years my hubby will be 60 and he's retiring. Al Haedar thank you so much Al, that’s so kind of you. We have really settled into village life now, and last night went to our first community centre party where most of the people in the village donned a Christmas sweater and played fun games for the slightly older generation. We got to meet all our neighbors and received so many invites for coffee mornings and craft circles. We found there are just 4 children in the village, which is why we didn’t have a single trick or treater on Halloween. I hope you get to have your dream home soon Al, we waited a long time, but the best things are usually worth waiting for. Xxxxxxxx

Unfortunately not every rental allows you to paint that's something I see in a lot of"how to decorate a rental" videos and in most places they don't allow it so using art is a good alternative to painting if you love color.

Thx Great advice🙂 I have a tip for renters who hate those vertical blinds on sliding balcony doors and some windows.. a pair of NoNo Brackets. No drilling or damaging walls at all! They fit into the blinds head rail and then you just place the curtain/drapery rod in the NoNo brackets (of course take down and store the blinds for when you move). There’s a little decorative screw to tighten the bracket so the rod won’t shift. My curtains look SO much better than the blinds!

Hi, I live in Australia and here in Sydney at least if you rent an apartment or a house you are not allowed to paint walls or put any holes in walls which means you cannot put any paintings unless you do it with removable hooks. That makes it extremely difficult to decorate. However I have found removable wallpaper which does not leave a mark when you take it down. This is the only way to decorate in a rental in Sydney. For those who want to know, I got my wallpaper from all posters.com.au. The paper actually comes from America. Love you videos I love your moms to
