Since I was 16, I've been searching for the best interior cleaner, one where it really leaves the interior with the factory, matte finish. No matter which product I tried, they all left some type of residue, or even a light sheen. I was so frustrated that I simply started using a very diluted custom formula with Dawn dish soap and distilled water. It wasn't the best, but it worked better than everything that I've tried. Just last month (age 35), I bought the Gyeon Interior Detailer, and I'm never going back to any other inferior interior detailing product! I love this stuff!! I know it's for cleaning only so it doesn't have any protection, but I have Xpel Prime XR+ 35 tints all around the car and Llumar Air 80 on the windshield. So that's enough UV protection for my 2020 Mercedes C43 AMG with alcantra, Napa leather, and MB Tex interior. For those with a Mercedes with MB Tex leather, you know it outlasts the car.

I’m definitely going to try out this interior detailer. I love P&S interior detailer, but its soapy consistency is better suited for a deeper clean imo. Yes! Finally a video on the Gyeon Interior Detailer! I frikkin love it! haha this is my go to for simple interior detailing Pan. I chose it because yes like you mentioned the product doesn't smudge and it dissipates fast. The only thing i found is that when the towel gets very clogged up with product you tend to see a slight streaking mainly on the piano black trims or screens. Love the video Pan! I'm excited to see more future vids.

Still my newly bought 2013 Audi A6 has some smell inside and I am looking for a product and method for a more deep cleaning of the seats (fabric, not leather). There are no visible stains, but its not smelling very fresh somehow. Loving your vids, have been going all the way with ceramic coatings etc through your vids. Is there an obvious difference or consideration when choosing between an interior cleaner like P&s Xpress and interior detailers?

Xpress and the Gyeon Interior Detailer are only cleaners. They don’t have any protection properties. So you have to follow up with an interior protection. Or pick an intnerior detailer that cleans and protects. I’ll have a video on that soon.

A cleaner is just a cleaner. It cleans the surface. Examples of this are P&S XPress Interior Cleaner, CarPro Inside, Gyeon Interior Detailer. An interior quick detailer is a product that does light cleaning duties and adds a bit of protection. You would use an interior quick detailer as maintenance to maintain the existing longer lasting protection. A few examples of interior detailers are Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Streak Free Mist Interior Detailer, DIY Detail Clean and Protect, P&S Swift, CarPro InnerQD. Gyeon Interior Detailer’s name is a bit confusing as it’s just a light cleaner, it has zero protection. I hope this helps!

P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner and the Gyeon Interior Detailer are both cleaners, zero protection added. The XPress is more for heavier duty interior cleaning especially at full strength, compared to the Gyeon which is only a light cleaner (hence the name interior detailer). If you want a light cleaner (detailer) that ads UV protection, anti-static properties, anti-bacterial properties, and leaves a near-OEM matte look, this is my new favourite: bit.ly/3QjSrli

Pan would you do a review on a 1 inch / 2 inch polisher such as the SPTA Mini Cordless (available from Amazon). I’m just a hobbyist not a detailer so I only use a polisher once or twice a year. I would like a 1 inch machine to get into smaller areas and can’t justify the expense of a Rubes.

Hi Pan! Isn't the Gyeon interior detailer a hit too harsh as it is 60% alcohol? Could it dry out plastics and also the sinthetic leather of the steering wheel?

I have had zero issues with it. Gyeon states that it’s safe on leather, plastic, Alcantara, textiles, glass and all types of interior trim. It's meant for light cleaning duty, not heavily soiled interiors. Light dust, finger marks, light dirt, etc. Gyeon themselves have answered your exact question in their video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYbGn3yPbKuaaNU They say that the sun dries out interior materials way quicker than Interior Detailer would. It won’t harm your plastics as long as you don’t let it dwell on them or over use the product in terms off amount of liquid. I hope this helps!

It sure would be nice to see a video to see what is the best microfiber towel for a given situation. GSM, 70/30 or 80/20.I mostly see, "grab a microfiber towel" but don't hear what is the best one to use.

All the ones I have tested so far are pretty good, including their Ceramic Wax detail spray which is featured in my 20-way paint protection real world durability test. It was a nice surprise! Gyeon Interior Detailer is only a light cleaner. CarPro InnerQD lightly cleans and protects. Two different styles.

According to Gyeon: Will it remove protection? Depends - products like CarPro PERL or Gyeon Preserve/LeatherCoat - yes. LeatherShield - not immediately, but after multiple uses, performance might me affected.

Awesome video Pan!! Would you recommend the geon cleaner or the carpro inside cleaner? Also which ceramic do you recommend the cquartz or the avalon king? I've used cquartz before. I just bought a new car and want to protect it the best ways possible.

They are two different cleaners. The Gyeon Interior Detailer is a quick detailer for the interior with a bit of sanitizing. The CarPro Inside is a more dedicated interior cleaner (more powerful). You would do tougher jobs with the CarPro, and to regular maintenance cleans with the Gyeon. As far as a ceramic coating is concerned, the CQuartz UK 3.0 has been my top consumer grade coating for multiple years now, you get 2 years of protection with that. AvalonKing is another great one, supposed to last at least 2 years, but I have only been testing it for about a year now, so I still need more time for long term durability conclusions, but the AvalonKing is by far the easiest to apply ceramic coating I have ever tested. So if you're new to coatings and want something simple, the AvalonKing is great. If you want the creme de la creme, the Cquartz is hard to beat. How did you discover my channel by the way?

My car was actually a perfect candidate for this product, as it's simply a quick interior detailer, meant for regular maintenance and refresh of the interior. Not meant to clean really dirty interiors like a full blown interior cleaner or APC. ;)

There's no real direction. Because the paintwork is protected, hydrophobics are strong and the water is super easy to blow off.

Pan, my wife uses sunscreen and unfortunately and it will not come off in the black door trim of the interior of my car. I use P&S express interior cleaner but it's not working. any produce advice?

You might want to move up to something with a bit more cleaning power at that point, like an APC diluted for interior use. Or, use a gentle scrub pad along with P&S Xpress cleaner, as you need to get into the pores of the material. Something like this tool: amzn.to/3vHctwW
