I absolutely loved watching you paint that. I'm a beginner and I find it really helps that I can hear your thought process as you're painting so that I understand why you are doing certain things. I think you have a great style and I wish I could paint like you. more videos like this please. thank you 😊 Lisa (UK)

I enjoyed this one too! You help s so much, please allow me to give back: the sofa= wing back chair. The bed is a poster bed= 4 posts. The candle holders next to painting = wall sconces. The thing over the drapes=valance. I admire ta you speak more than one language -- some words are just picky, your words explained it quite well! Thanks again for the time and effort you take to inspire us!

Terrific video, Liron! I Really like the time lapse format that you used for this, I think this is an excellent way to see your work and still allow us to have a video we can watch in real time. We always have the option of stopping at an any point or going back to review something but I think this time lapse stuff is really great. Also, although you've certainly done more beautiful, elaborate paintings, this is one of my favorites of yours, and I'm really excited that you posted a video for it - thanks as always!

Outstanding painting! I’m you’re #1 fan from Alabama, USA. From left to right you have a 4 poster bed with a canopy, a wing back chair (sofas are wider) and the candleholders are candelabras. Your English is amazing knowing is not your first language. Impressed with your vocabulary too🧐

Amazing painting! , I like the underpainting technique (ocher, red, blue ). The colors are so dark, but at the end the contrast with the lighter areas and the touch of highlights brings the painting to a beautiful, bright ending! Thank you for your demo and your pep talk at their end!

My God, I am so proud of you. I no your an artist, but every time I see you it's in book reviews that I agree with you and your keen eye view. Just looking through Portraits & there you were. With great interest I said to my very artistic friend O I must see his work, he replied, He's very good. He has seen your work. O young artist, you are lovely. You made my day. Now I must try this soft perfect lighting peace. Mine will not be as fine and perfect as a seasoned artist as you very well are Dear Artist. You have my heart ❤ and future endeavors. Judy.

Really enjoyable LiRon. You did a fantastic job speeding up the time so we could watch the painting emerge. One small suggestion I would like to make, is when painting the bedpost in front of the window, tap the wet paint with a tissue to make the glare effect due to the bright light from the window. I love your work. I eagerly look forward to watching your videos everyday.

a question - I sketched out a drawing with a regular #2 graphite pencil ...there are pencil smudges all over. When I start to watercolor the pencil muddies the paint. Any advice? thank you!!
@LironYan3 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, usually the paint cleans the pencil, and any smudges pretty much become obsolete. Are you painting with a very very light wash? If you plan on darkening there's a good chance it won't be as visible as you progress. Another thing could be the paper - what type and surface is this? I find that with 100% cotton, cold-press, I don't usually have this issue. Let me know! (: Also feel free to email a pic of it (email on my channel info)

How to create the glow of light at the edge of curtain as in reference?
@patstringer36404 жыл бұрын
Adding a couple of unnecessary comments. Candles could also be sconces, maybe, as well as candelabra, the bedposts belong to a "four poster" and the overstuffed creation is a chair, not a sofa. I think the white strips on either side of bedpost are a wee bit wide. They distracted me a little. Love Love Love this painting. FABULOUS Job. Hasta be one of my favorites.
