Very sick truck. My dream. But I 100% agree with you, Freighliner Cascadia has the best interior in my opinion. It is the most spacious and has HUGE pockets, and shelves. I loved my new cascadia so much. You could put so much stuff in it. I hate how Peterbilt doesn't care about us drivers, they don't understand that we have a lot of crap in our trucks. They need to make those shelves, pockets bigger. Truck manufactory companies need to learn from one another.

Nice !! I’ll trade the extra space in the back for the front compartments any day… what made me want to look more into the Pete was the fact you mentioned it’s a more comfortable ride overall & the noise cancellation, kinda bummed about the fridge space & would want to put a 32-40in TV but I’m sure there’s ways around that. The mirror not attached to the door is another crazy cool feature. Anyhow, Congrats again bro. Will be waiting on that digital dash video…. time to double up the bag 💰💰💪

Nice truck. It’s always been interesting yet crazy to me that everyone knows Peterbilt and Kenworth are both part of Paccar and are built mostly the same . The Peterbilt 579 and Kenworth T680 are close but the differences make you wonder why #1 those cup holders have been similar to yours for years (my 19 680 is like that except the cup holders are next to each other with storage to left instead of between them) the early auto Trans 680s with Eaton 10 speed had the shifter built with the cup holders wile the later Paccar auto 12 speed shifter moved to steering column like yours .. #2 Kenworth T680 mirrors have always been on the truck body instead of the door.. # 3 more of a style difference KW uses toggle switches instead of push buttons like yours has , 19 kw 680 still uses toggle switches for headlights on the upper center of the dashboard instead of a modern knob like yours probably has . Although it looks like Peterbilt puts the brake valves up and out of the way instead of KW down with he cup holders, forget putting your vape or anything else you don’t want flung out of there when you pull the brakes ..

Beautiful truck - keep that freight moving Digital dash looks ok, it would be nice if they gave folks the option as to analogue or digital but digital seems to be the way things are going. The steering wheel has room for improvement in the looks department - pretty ugly tbh, the old wheel was nicer but obviously did not have all the extra controls for the dash. On the dash - how does it look at night? Is it too bright / fatiguing or is it ok?

Buddy of mine this morning got his Prime Inc. Beautiful white truck hit this morning by another trucker who apparently didn't do what your supposed to do which is get out & look, when your not sure if your going to hit another truck or not when backing in. My buddy was sleeping when he was awaken by what he described on his fb posts today. The trucker when hitting him made it feel like an earthquake. Put a nice scratch on his side fender the part just above his right side drive wheel & put a nice mark on his right side hood mirror.

Worth the upgrade ? I got rid of my 2020 Pete and got in 2021 freight liner because my pete just kept having problems especially with sensors and stuff , also every time I got ready to go down the hill and use the engine brakes the truck engine shutdown timer would stop for whatever reason had it in the shop 4x could never get it fixed and it happened one time when I was getting ready to go down mount eagle thank god I was able to pull over by slamming on the brakes if not with the truck off you can’t use your engine brakes! Bluetooth audio sound was so damn low had so many issues with it I was wondering if I should either try to get a new one or wait and see if we can ever get Volvos

They need a better setup for the APU stuff. Connect it to the truck brake system. Runs until the parking brake is disengaged.

Wonder what seats you added from the aftermarket. Anything you can elaborate on with this regard. The old cup holders are not very nice The new style looks better but 2 is not enough. I just remember another thing what really bugs me. Driver dims the touchscreen at night, shuts off the truck, starts it back up, touchscreen is back at full light instead of staying at the previous setting. Same with the Radio, playing something on Bluetooth it goes back to Radio, that drives me insane on my 567

I'm sure will fill you in on the kachava. But I can tell you that it tastes pretty good. It packed full of vitamins and minerals and you can add just about anything you want to it like fruit or different milks. It calls for water but it's thicker with milk. I'm big on strawberry banana protein smoothies and I drink a kachava shake for breakfast and I stay full for hours.

Alot of that stupid stuff i think is your company's doing not Peterbilt. My brother just bought a new 579 and its not like that,his air weight guage is in the dash,sound system is crazy nice..i dont know what that state code stuff is, he doesn't have that in his truck. Yes I understand the difference that you have a company spect truck vs an O/O truck. If I was going to buy one of these plastic trucks I would honestly consider this Peterbilt,I really like what they did with it. It's kind of a bummer you don't have the LCD mirror screens those are cool as shit,weather does not really block them, I took it for a ride at night when it was raining and that night vision just cut right through the rain I can see all the way down the side of my trailer no problems. I also like the Adaptive steering holyshit it feels like a car. I didn't see it but there's supposed to be a ladder for that top bunk
