I thought my level is B2 .It turned out that it is not so.I am trying to learn English for winning in the olympiad.What can you advise me?And my vocabulary is not good.Thank you for good stories😉
@LovelyEnglishStories3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! We recommend listening to our stories on a slower speed. Write down vocabulary you don’t know it fully understand and find the translation in your language. Then work out how you would use these words in context. Keep practising, you will get there!

Thank you for your lovely stories. Is there any chance if you could add one more slide to explain about difficult words at the end of the story?
@LovelyEnglishStories3 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you so much for your suggestion. We have done this on our Yorkshire video and we may include this in the future. However, we are planning to release some downloadable content which has helpful exercises and difficult word explanations :)

Is it an American English?
@LovelyEnglishStories3 жыл бұрын
Hello 👋🏼 No, all of our stories are British English 😊
@JenneSarah3 жыл бұрын
Hi, how are you today, I want to explain to me the formula that I couldn't understand it as well It is He always batch-cooked ? Why batch in this sentence ? Why it is before not after?
@LovelyEnglishStories3 жыл бұрын
Batch means to do something or arrange as a group or it can mean a quantity of something So, in the story, Matt cooked a huge batch of food so he could freeze some of it and eat it later. A lot of people do this to save money and help with budgeting. Or, like in the story, people also do this if they live in the countryside and don't have shops close by. By batch-cooking food, they always have something in the freezer ready to eat if they cannot get out.

@LovelyEnglishStories3 жыл бұрын
Hello, This is a B2 story, but there is some C1 vocabulary in there which we have listed in the description :)
@kizakizoo65863 жыл бұрын
I really loved your story but there is a mistake (a few moments )in plural we don't use indefinite articles
@LovelyEnglishStories3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kiza! “A few moments” is correct English. There’s a great explanation of it (and how to use “a little,” “few,” and “a few”) on the Cambridge dictionary website: dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/little-a-little-few-a-few
