I was doing the beginner exercises for couple weeks even tho I’m playing guitar over 10 years and I have to say that I’m glad to fix the gaps in basics, because this one is much easier right now to practice, concept is the same it’s just another layer. I feel that a lot of people might be discourage to do basics but hey guys, it really works ! Concentration is the key even tho it seems trivial it’s not as easy ! Thank you Tomo!

Thanks for sharing! I still practice beginner level simple ones now! Don't do all. Just even one topic everyday for a long time (many days!) No need to worry how long (hours) to practice. Even 2 minutes!

I am still lacking a systematic approach to learning aka a practice system like this. I think this is what a lot of intermediate guitar players need. I taught myself major and minor triads on all string sets just by ear but I still think there is so much missing in my approach. It's time for Guitar Wisdom, i think. Thank you as always for the guidance and ceaseless effort to bring first-class guitar education to the people. Arigatou goseimaszu Fujita-Sensei

Thank you TOMO sensei. Always the big fan of your practice routine series(5min/15min/7exercises,etc).And the all new beginner&intermediate&advanced collection is also so great and full of wisdom. To be honest its the method i've been search for since the day i took my guitar from the year of 2008. You know, before i found your channel, i do only tablature. Not knowing the music note. From the past two years i took the modern method volume 1 , but not knowing how to get into it better. Then maybe its the fortune or may be the destiny helps those who help themselevs, I found your relevant videos about the book and the other classical quality videos. You share the wisdom that not to stick in one paper BUT build up the routine with the MUSIC. And more, you share the wisdom to get well with our body, mind and life. Your are the best music teacher and the master. Thank you and thank to the Internet for spreading your method. Thank you so much Mr.Tomo.

Thank you Sensei Tomo, I've just noticed something in this video, I was having a problem muting the strings when doing your finger picking exercises and realized because I like to play at times without a pick and use my thumb and fingers when playing that I also had my fingers open(extended) when using the pick. I noticed your fingers when doing the exercises in a closed position and that was the reason, I couldn't get my palm down to do string muting. It is a bit different, and I will have to practice with fingers closed when using the pick, but it was nice. My noise level has just gone down tremendously.

Good technique is not easy to obtain that's why most guitar players easily to stuck with same playing skills & more gears! Foundation is not flashy but it is so important. You got nearly half a million subscribers, your exercises are technically structured and you are a capable guitar player - so who am I to criticise you, but for me you are simply "too Japanese" in your methods and rather a guitar instructor for advanced players. I am in my mid-40ies and I know, as a teenager I would have quit straight away with you. I got your reasoning for not showing tabs, but as a beginner, you IMHO need something to clutch on to visually. Also, the exercises you show here build up on your previous beginner's one, which would have been far too monotonous for me. All in all, learning guitar with you, one must have a lot of ambition or be more advanced in musical understanding and/or guitar. You are definitely not the guitar teacher for the average Western teenager being interested in casual play. Which you don't have to, ofc. - Nonetheless, for the advanced student, you give fine hints...which I kinda have to cherrypick out of your vids. ;)
