I'm very greatlful to you Sam, thanks for all of your videos. Previously i could not turn around with a wind surf at all. Sometimes i paddled around the mast and if i didn't fell into the water(mostly i did) i could sail away. But this non-planing carve gybe is so cool...thanks for the great presentation, comment and super slow-mo video, i had watched it about 20 times before weekend and i could managed it pretty good. The wind was quite strong for me (15-20kts) but i was amazed how easy it is if one comply with the details what you mentioned in the video. I'am looking forward to learn the others: beach start, water start, tack, heli-tack, duck gybe.

Hi Sam, I've watched every video you posted and just wanted to say that you are a great inspiration and your videos are always highly informative and straight to the point! Just a question though, as I get to the middle of the gybe, I always get thrown off balance by the sail getting in to the air stream. I believe that my footwork is good but the sail always pulls me towards the outside of the turn. What's the catch there?

+Panagiotis Trachilos Hi, it's worth thinking about how far across the board your new back foot is. After you have changed the feet if the back foot is too close to the sail you will more likely be pulled over by the rig. If you can keep the inside rail carving then you'll find it easier to bring the rig back to you.

Good effort 👍 but too much wording, topic requires annotations. I am not sure what u exactly mean with the word “across”
