I love intermittent fasting and have been eating mostly OMAD since June 2020. Even though OMAD is my standard, I love being flexible in my schedule and will at times have variations to keep things interesting. I have lost weight, got into a healthy weight range for my height and maintained the weight loss for over 3 years! I love to share the flexibility and peace offered through intermittent fasting.

I'm definitely leveling up to a 36 hour fast very soon. The most I have gone is 28. Thank you for being so inspiring! ❤

Hi Jackie. Thank you both for sharing this info;it was very beneficial. My longest fast has only been 52 hours, I think I need to start doing longer ones. Both of your experiences made me decide that. I pray you both reach your health goals safely. I'll be watching your progress.

When I first saw your videos, I thought you were going all over the place with your routine. "NO! You must do everything the same consistently like a robot!" I was so, so wrong. Metabolic flexibility seems to be very important, if your body adapts to a pattern, change your routine. A very good idea not to stick to the same day in day out, throw a wrench in there once in awhile! Keeps us healthy overall and able to adapt faster and face challenges. It's also so freeing psychologically, that you're not in a The Fasting Method Prison.

How and where did you get CGM? Everything I see you have to have a prescription for it.

I just wanted to ask, What about losing muscle? Isn't like 3 days in the point in which muscle starts to break down? Good luck in your journey.

Of course you don't lose muscle after 3 days. The body ramps up hormone production, to maintain muscle mass when extended fasting. Having so much access to food is a modern day phenomenon that humans for the past millions of years have not had.

If you lost muscle that quickly, the world would be filled with gloopy people lying around everywhere. Our bodies are smarter than that.

I'm definitely not ready for 5 days but completed 3 days for the first time, longest fast. I'm perimenopausal and my feet still swelll every day while fasting. I realy don't get it.

Would it be extreme to do a 3 day water fast during my period due to my severe cramps, just wondering if that will help. To suffocate the cramps 🙈🫣😍❤️

A period is a great time to start a 3 day fast. I am making it a point to do 3 day fast during every cycle. See Dr. Mindy Pelz videos on fasting for your cycle.
