Kathy Lord it is not artificial, but it is a “non-nutritive sweetener” just like the artificial sweeteners - i did mention that it’s derived from a plant on the video. Thank you for bringing this up. However, the effects of it are the same - they activate same receptors and pathways as sugar, and is 200-300 times sweeter than sugar without providing that sense of fullness that sugar provides.

I started July31, 2020 @ 285lbs 6'1", I weigh myself once a week usually on a Monday. Sept 7th I weighed 257lbs. My year end goal is to be 220lbs at 50th birthday. I may shoot for 205 next year as it's what I weighed a long time a go out of the military and I feel its my ideal body weight. I do the 16/8 but often its more like 18/6, 10pm to 2pm is my fasting time (eating window is 2pm to 10pm). I work nights a lot so I'm just not eating at work and go straight to bed when I get home. I've cut out carbs (breads and white potatoes, very little fruit), unsweet almond milk in oatmeal (use cinnamon, honey, walnuts) maybe once a week. Lots of salads with (cheese, boiled egg, almonds, carrots, bits, balsamic vinegar), sweet potatoes, chicken, steak, broccoli, cabbage, stew (without potatoes), cheese, eggs, bacon. Pretty much anything no carb. I drink only water, black coffee, unsweet tea. The second week in I started drinking apple cider vinegar before bed and when I get up also. Recipe:1 cup of water,1 table spoon of acv, 1 table spoon of lemon juice. Use a straw and drink it toward the back of your mouth so the acids don't go over your teeth and hurt your enamel. I walk a couple days a week and do pushups, planks, leg lifts most days.The weight is just falling off, I'm never going back to my old unhealthy lifestyle.

Hello doctor I’m trying to do fasting but I’m confused so I need your help please. I started 3 days ago I usually work evening shift. I eat my breakfast 3:00 pm just black coffee and one avocado or two ball of egg. Dinner between 9:00 to 10:00pm I don’t eat until until next day 3:pm am I doing the right thing or not? What should I do ? Send me the list of what to eat or not . I hope you understand my broken English too stay bless.

I understood you perfectly :). If you are fasting from 10pm to 3:00pm the next day then you are fasting for 15 hours -- you just need one more hour :) I have a list of what to eat and not to eat for general good health in my patient handout that you can download for free (see link in my description). Lemon water with honey during fasting has been practiced in ancient civilizations for tens of thousands of years our prime minister modi fasts for 9 days straight he drinks only warm water with lemon and honey

Noor-Fatimah Hussain No, Intermittent Fasting is separate from exercise, and simply sets rules for your eating habits and timing. Nutrition has a greater impact on weight loss than exercise does, but of course exercise is important for so many other reasons than just weight loss. Does that answer your question?

I am currently doing intermittent fasting and have lost 61 pounds so far. I started at 247 pounds and currently at 186. I was taking 10 mg medication for blood pressure and my doctor cut it to 5 mg. And there is a good chance I won't need it anymore. I started intermittent fasting when my doctor told me I was becoming a diabetic. Intermittent Fasting changed my life for the better.

Banter With Belle You mean anorexia? Bulemia involves binging and purging. Fasting is something that has been done for thousands of years across many cultures for various health and spiritual reasons. I do state however, that it is NOT for those with a history of eating disorders as it can trigger those tendencies for susceptible people. But for most people, it does not feel similarly in the least.

What if you do not have a gallbladder

It shouldn't be an issue -- the gallbladder is simply to store bile and then release in order to digest fatty foods consumed. If you don't have a gallbladder your liver will take care of releasing the bile directly. Hope that helps!

So I e started intermittent fasting, but Ives always cut out a lot of carbs. But when I get hungry, I get REALLY hungry but like to the point that it makes me feel sick, like a lot of pain...and I start to feel weak and especially when I’m working or active. Will that pass? Is that normal? And when I do eat, the stomach pains will go away but then I’ll feel dizzy and light headed ?

Yes! There are no food restrictions, but simply try to maintain a well balanced healthy diet that is lower in carbs. Meat, Fish, Chicken, and peanut butter are all great!

if you are in good health you don't need to FAST simply avoid all wheat products, since the 60's(when we were all a lot thinner) wheat has been hybridised to the point that is now toxic to the human body, so give wheat the elbow and as spock would say"live long and prosper" and when most of your complaints have gone and you've shifted a bit of weight without even trying you can thank me later
