For the benefit of anyone fortunate enough to come across this wonderfully informative series, closely follow Elizabeth Rodriguez’ journey which begins at 19m12s. At 20m36s there’s a missed opportunity for Dr. Jennifer Garcia to use her “Differential Diagnosis” skills on Elizabeth. Not all MD’s arrive with this examination skill available (it can also be obtained with experience & study) and it’s VERY handy to have in this sort of situation. But the other BIG catch is that the Dr’s office must include a “Whiteboard”. It’s only coded yellow for ‘desirable’ when furnishing an Office; but it’s essential for DD skills to function.

Keep in mind newcomers, that you can hire a Janitor Manager using your Administrative Department function, and then Janitors can have areas of responsibility assigned to them. It’s a total treat to watch this well-oiled machine run so flawlessly. Wonderful to see a build that isn’t immediately focussed on Ambulances & Trauma.

The remainder of this Elizabeth Rodriguez segment is also instructional. Inexplicably(?) there’s a Dr. change to Kate Green at 20m47s while Elizabeth is at the Lab. Kate is still on the case when Elizabeth returns to the Office and then leaves as Office Hours end. Notice that when patient Elizabeth returns on Day 8 at 24m32s she’s not assigned to a Dr. initially. At 25m17s Elizabeth is now being treated by Dr. Jordan Davis. In an Outpatient Clinic setting this physician reassignment could be quite ‘real world’. Keep in mind however, that you can click on the Doctor section of the patient’s treatment card and assign the case to another available physician within the Department if you wish.

I`m late to the game here, but i do have to say these little tips , how to make one office and then make it a prefab LOVELY, and seeing your layout style, placing the office x-ray etc FIRST then walls love it and can't wait to see other hidden gems THANK YOU
