The guy on the left seems to be getting a lot of flack in these comments, he may not have articulated himself as well but some valid points were made to the discussion. From observation I recognised a few traits linked with ADHD which could explain his overall demeanor. Apologies if this is not the case but thought I'd mention it in case it helps.

Anyone belittling the brother (who HAS HIMSELF REALISED HIS MISTAKE) is apparently a saint themselves. Masha'Allah. As if none of you saints has ever been driven by his nafs and emotion. Pathetic. We are an ummah, you're supposed to give the person advice in the best way and want the best for him, that's the sign of eman. But ofcourse, if you feel you're sinless and perfect, then go ahead and call him every disgusting word under the sun, it will be the best gift to him on that Day. He should send you gifts for all the deeds he's acquired from you. He went through so many deaths, so it's natural that at his weakest he sought someone who made him feel good for a while, he was shortsighted but the pain of loss and death can leave you blind. May Allah guide us all and protect us. The lesson from all of this is: hardly anyone changes after marriage. If she's not religious now, if she doesn't pray now, if she's allowing male friends into her life, if she comes from a muslim culture but still refuses to wear hijab then she will not change, no matter how much she loves you or how kindly you advise her. You can yell and break the walls til the cows come home, love does nothing to change that, infact it blinds you even more until you start to become resentful. Beauty fades, character is forever. Princess behaviour is fun at first, then it's grating. Marry someone deen centred, family oriented, considerate, mature, grounded, humble and attractive to you. Don't be so star stricken that you lose your dignity and sanity. There are plenty of women out there, you don't need to bend your morals or damage your mental health over one. May Allah guide us all

I’ve watched all 3 videos now and brother Iqbal is exactly what’s wrong with some of the “men”. Sham saw a pretty girl abroad and ended up in a bad situation; she was from a middle class background there and him working class so the scale was already unbalanced. His USP was the passport and hers, the looks. The second brother in this video was able to articulate himself and get his point to cross well, showed humility and wisdom. Iqbal wasn’t able to articulate himself at all and seemed to be there for banter. He said a whole bunch of words that meant nothing. Why was he invited? The reason why someone like Iqbal would go abroad is because most well rounded Muslim sisters wouldn’t want a man-child like that. He’s a decent looking brother but lacks what the majority of women want. A woman will happily submit to a man that she trusts, regardless of how pretty or independent. Women want to better themselves and their surroundings. The problem is, Iqbal types who cannot string a sentence together, give the impression they won’t add value or enrich your life, the way you would theirs and would you then trust then to lead you? The scale is unbalanced and women are choosing to stay single for this reason. Beyond providing kids, Iqbal types do little else. Men are failing are masculinity so women are in turn, hide away femininity. Dear brothers who seek good wives, learn the importance of deen, good moral conduct, class and humility. The prophet PBUH wasn’t “ghetto” so try working on that first and carry yourself better. Your demeanour speaks louder than your possessions.

@HeretoSee8
@HeretoSee8 Ай бұрын
@@EnamHussain-rb6sq FYI my mum and dad speak read and write in English, sylheti bengali and Shudo basha too. My dad has never been on benefits and neither has my mother. Both are educated to Bengali degree college level and ambitious in developing their lives, deen and character. Just because a high percentage of Bengalis are on benefits doesn’t mean everyone is. I highlighted he was there for bants but he strikes me as the type of guy that goes to Morocco himself. Women aren’t feminine for an array of reasons, my reason is one of many. Also not every Bengali woman is overweight the same not every single Bengali man is unattractive.

This could be said about those from other cultures as well. Some have been successful married to other races and unsuccessful with their own race. At times other races tend to appreciate you more than your own race. Living in the west especially somewhere multicultural like london, you get exposed to so many cultures that you become more open minded to other races/ cultures. As an African, I connect more with black men but I have been married to non black and I never missed nor thought of a black man. Though I’d defo opt for a black man if I had to choose from two men with similar qualities and one black and one non black.

Sorry to say but the second speaker has so much to learn in life. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤐 He’s deffo been to Morocco. 😂 The side smile and quick “Anyway” said it all. The first speaker, Mashallah, smart, self reflecting individual, is able to comprehend things past the negatives in his own culture and holds on to Islam to make his marriage work with an Arab wife. This is how you need to be if you choose to marry outside of your culture or marry in general. Even then he said they still have ups and downs. What does this tell you ? It tells you that for you to marry full stop, you need the right character, intelligence and understanding to make marriage work in general including being close to Allah. Let alone being in a mixed marriage which is even more complicated. Marriage is not for everyone and unless you have the right character to do the right thing when shit hits the fan. It won’t work.

The msg at the end by the brother caught up in the sham marriage is heartbreaking and unfortunately very true to the awful shame/blame culture we have cultivated in the south Asian community. I feel ashamed that we haven’t done more to eradicate honour based shame and allow more people, men and women, to be vulnerable and share their story without fear of judgement or abuse. Furthermore- bro Iqbal, you made me laugh! I think you’re still aesthetically inclined and not getting to the crux of what your future bride should have; fear of Allah and good akhlaq, a 7 or 8 out of 10 will be her noor radiating from within in shaa Allah 💗 anyways, both brothers presented most of my views, good panel Alhamdulilah 🙂

Really enjoyed listening to the first guest, again with the second was trashing South Asian women in the UK. Hyper focused on what men deserve and are entitled to excluding reflection on the responsibilities of men. All centred around the superficial and material, nothing about substance or character and companionship that women offer. This is part of the reason I think the majority of my friends have married revert Muslim men who value and care for them and I've stayed single. We honestly have a huge problem in the way we view and treat British born south Asian Muslim women. It feels as though we are viewed by two many British born South Asian men as less than them, something to not settle for.

@anonamous6278 thanks dude I am youngish at 27 and married for 6 years Alhamdullilah . Although I do agree it shouldn't be the ONLY factor but I also believe there's nothing wrong with beauty being a requirement for an individual aswell as all the important points you mentioned. But that's besides the point because your original statement was that they should both be attractive which I believe to be false, women tend to marry a man more for emotional connection the provisions he can provide and social status. Whereas men marry more for beauty, fertility and potential house rearing skills imo.

One thing that was highlighted from all 3 parts is the importance of following and adhering to the commands of Allah and the obligations placed upon us from Quran and Sunnah. Some men have this belief that they can, like iqbal said, "enjoy her for the night not wife her" and act holier than thou by searching for a "good wife" who is practicing and submissive while still playing around with the type of women they talk down upon. You have to ask by having this mentality, who exactly are you fooling, Allah ? Like the expert said if you follow and act upon the meanings of surah al fatiha you would never be in a shisha bar talking to a girl. You would be lowering your gaze and praying in the masjid or helping your family by providing for them, taking care of your sisters and mothers. I was very astonished by the fact that a few people in this podcast are in their 30s and not married, ever. In my African culture, Somali to specific, we find it strange and weird that a man or a woman past 30 is not married, like there's this common belief that once both males and females hit above 30 and never married that there is something seriously wrong with them. My question is, what were you guys up to in your 20's? Over 24 is when you should be looking and settling down, studies should've been over by then and rent a house that's in a cheaper area. There is also the fitnah of these matrimonial dating sites. Since when was dating okay for marriage purposes ? Keep it halal and involve the parents, get a wali, have some oversight over what is being said between you. Stop making excuses for haram under the pretence of marriage

This episode was painful to listen to and I had to skip the bits when the guy on the left kept waffling. He must've been either high or taken something before this show, couldn't even keep still and maintain composure let alone talk properly. The average IQ in the room came down a notch because of the outlier. Your other guest presented well, spoke eloquently and articulated himself well, would've preferred to hear from him more than the other guy.

British Sisters are left with children after ‘visa’ and even face physical abuse. It would be good to talk to the ‘wife’ of the married guest. Her email please , I’m female.

Hey sis/bro, there’s a loop hole in the system with regards to being entitled to indefinite leave if you have a child. Many Algerian men married white women back in the late 90s and early 2000, had a child asap so if the woman ever changed her mind about not completing his visa due to abuse or just incompatibility, he would be automatically given indefinite leave to which ever European country he settled in. Still happens now. Sad but it’s true. And it’s the same for the women.

Ive read the comments on the first and second parts. Whilst I don’t disagree with them nor do I agree with them I probably would have been saying the same things as the people in the comment section but Ive had my share of experience enough to make me understand that that anyone can fall into these scenarios and lets not forget Hadith of our Prophet Peace be upon him that women are the biggest fitna for men. The fact that the guys in the comments comment certain stuff that is probably because they never had any interest or attention from a beautiful woman but from my experience I’ve realised when you do get that interest from a beautiful woman there is nothing that can break you out of it thats how strong it is unless you are messing her about and not sincere. Reminds me of the saying of Mike Tyson everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Everyone can talk until they find themselves caught up in that situation. Don’t be so sure tomorrow you wont get caught up in something like this Just something to consider before judging orhers

You brother definitely sound like a man with experience of the fairer sex. Most of the men that go to places like Morocco aren't used to attractive women giving them attention here in the UK mainly because they aren't attractive themselves. Since they can't get a attractive women on merit here inn the UK which they feel entitled to they go abroad using the leverage of UK passport to secure a female well out of their league. Problem arises when these women secure uk passport they divorce the men . A man who can't get a female on merit won't be able to keep a female either.

I know 2 brothers who are married to moroccan women and MashaAllah are happily married with kids. Allah huma barik. I think it's wrong to label the country as such that they all are after money. Obviously brother in your previous post went to a shisha bar and fell into a trap. The normal girls in morocco aren't allowed to be outside alone especially at night time. Even in the uk which normal good girl will be going to shisa places. So it's wrong to label the country as whole. And also the guy in your first podcast is a weak brother and lacks masculinity however i do feel sorry for him as he seems a very nice and genuine guy. But he's too nice for his own good. When you let your women talk to other males etc you are inviting for trouble. Moroccan or any women will not respect such man. If you want to find good moroccan wife. Do not go to bars/shisha places and go instead to smaller cities preferably and get to know their culture etc. There are good and bad people everywhere. I am from pakistan and i know many people who got married back home and got done over for the visa. I believe it is a women's right to want to choose a man who can give her a better life. But don't be a dayuut no one will respect you 💯

The way i see it you get good and bad people everywhere. If you are bad yourself you gona find bad women/husband. A lot of these man are going to clubs and seeing these working beauties and they fall for em. Doing family background checks always helps. If you are not strong enough person I'd suggest not to go look for a wife elsewhere.
