the issue with muzz is that it makes it way too easy for either gender to fall into haram, if it had more restrictions e.g adding the walis contact for the woman straight away it would remove the chances of such things happening

I know people that have used the app and they're incredibly disappointed. They've said there's a lot of time wasters on that app and they are not explicit they're time wasting, and Sisters have said the Brothers on there ask for pictures first, before they've introduced themselves.

The Brother is speaking the truth about Penny Appeal. I was telling everyone not to donate to Penny Appeal. Penny Appeal never respond to appeals, questions etc. Penny Appeal needs to be shut down completely. I stopped donating to Islamic Relief years ago because they allowed a bunch of racist Tories to go through all the accounts.

Of course he does. Similarly a private business creates a private communication service and makes active decisions on what is and isn't acceptable. Profit margins is a not a acceptable criterion to justify violating islamic law. If a shop keeper sells alcohol, does you're benefiting from the shops other items justify his alcohol trade? Even If alcohol is the reason for his success it still haram. The point is the leaders bare a responsibility and will be held to account for it. You cannot wave away the shari'ah because you percieve there are others benefiting in this scenario

As others have stated. Muzmatch is just a tool, its the users who have shown time and time again to be the issue. If their speed dating services have music and stuff it is problematic, however women not having a guardian is a modern problem not muzmatches fault. The womens family should be facilitating this.

There's no if, the speed dating is literally free mixing, music and activities between genders. This is haraam let's be clear forget problematic. The Wali not being required is a Muzmatch choice on the app to ensure engagement. Changing it to be mandatory only is an easy change other apps have it but the usage rate will drop dramatically. Its ultimately a business and the customer doesn't want it. Regardless tho, the Prophet SAW said in a hadith " Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.” Scholars say that opposite exists as well and Muzmatch facilate this so share in any haraam

I've listened to over 40 mins now and the interview just becomes self aggrandisement and promotion so I have stopped. I may be wrong about what comes later, so apologies if I am but where are the questions about muzz now organising speed dating events? Or mixed events where groups of guys and girls all go to a restaurant together without any modesty, mehram or segregation? Dilly has simply used his platform to promote an app which maybe once was better but is now promoting pure haram and not even making any bones about it. It's quite disgraceful.
