Hey Jacob! I found an article on that gravesite with the paste comment on the head stone. It said “. The paste contained alum, a common additive in adhesives that serves the purpose of 1) preventing mold by keeping excess moisture out and 2) whitening the mixture for improved aesthetics. As our hungry vagrant discovered too late, alum is also toxic in large doses.”

YES! Goldfield and ICFOTLC is one of my favorite spots in the whole state, easy to lose an hour walking around the cars. Pretty sure I told you about this one, not sure if you remember. Chad Sorg is the artist, very interesting character. With all your car trouble, you took a chance driving around all the loose metal there. Unknown Man Died Eating Paste is an icon of the area. So glad to see you finally visit these places. Those angels in Tonopah look like reproductions of the ones at the Hoover Dam. Fun fact about Goldfield: most of those buildings are vacant. The population 100 years ago was around 10,000 but is currently only around 300. Make sure to eat at the Dinky Diner and chat with the owner next time.

At 21:15 .That's a 1966 Chevy van ..I owned one of those back in the late 1990's ..I was driving to my Moms house one morning .crossing a Bridge in Clearwater Florida at around 55 MPH .the rear axle locked up on me and I spun around sideways. Then the van began rolling over on its roof ..it was horrible .landed on my roof .Busted my front teeth off on the dashboard..Paramedics told me that I should have walked out of that accident ....Before that I loved that ole Van 😊

Small random acts of kindness, they are the key to making the world a better place. That Limo was probably specced for something like a Mourners Car or Hotel transport, rare now but when you ordered one it generally is from a Coachbuilder rather than the Cars manufacturer and they would pretty much build it to your needs and wants.

The 8 doored car was an airport transportation vehicle. See the rack on top for luggage. It's not a limo. And it likely never left the airport, it just ran people from the terminal to their plane out on the tarmac.

The Car Forest was interesting. I have never heard of that. It is good luck your car did not break down while there in the middle of no where. Such interesting road side places. If that man died eating library paste in 1908 I am sure it was toxic during that time. I remember in elementary school kids would try to taste the non-toxic paste. I never had the desire. On long drives I wonder when driving by ones-self how many talk to themselves. Singing is always good. That is so cool that someone paid for your dinner at Denny's.I must remember to do that for someone the next time I go out or travel. If we see that chair on the top of your car, hehe. I... Am... TOTALLY FANGIRLING right now!!! Ahhhhhhh!!! I know Nevada is very spaced out... But you went and did it anyway 🥹 it's a special drive out there miles between anywhere. Growing up it drove me crazy but, I understand how lucky I am now. Some people have never seen the skyline like that and I was litteraly playing out in the desert just me, my dog and my imagination... I miss having the time and space to just... For lack of a better word.. Play... To make the things I dream up inside my head where no one could tell me it wasn't good enough... The only person I had to please was me... Bob's art cars I passed and stopped by almost every year as a child. I've typed lightly on that keyboard and tried to imagine what he was thinking about while putting them together... Gah! The memories! 😅 I digress! Mr. Carpetbagger I believe I might have an idea of the direction you are heading. Should I be right sego canyon will leave you in awe. The largest watermelon is a sight to take in, ratio is a neat art peice, and a small diversion is a man made cold water geyser that might actually be spouting again since it's been an okay season for water. Far off in the distant eastern Colorado you should look up the UFO Watchtower. Gahhhhhh!!! If you can't stay to see everything come back to Utah with Miss Jenny Penny!!! Please!

So the truck missing a bed with all the chains was a square body chevy, the box truck was most likely delivery for USPS/ possibly FedEx, the car on top of the box truck could of been a limousine although I’m not too sure. It’s unfortunate to see these cars like this considering some parts could still be used off these cars but I do appreciate that they are being used for art & not just rotting away out in the middle of nowhere/ in someone’s backyard with no purpose. That character on top of the art trailer is the mascot for warheads candy.

The multi door limo would have been an airport shuttle vehicle in the mid 1900s.

The car on top of the truck is an old airport car. back in the late 50s through the mid 70s you could pay to have one of those airport cars come get you and your group of people to take you to the airport to fly out of town allowing you to leave your vehicle at home. The box truck looks more like a milk truck that the milk man drove to deliver milk to your front door back in the old days. I guess that combination of vehicles was showing out dated service we use to use a long time ago.

Okay, here comes "Little Mother." Jacob, when I see you in Crocs while you film in places where there might be detritus on the ground, (stuff that might be sharp and dangerous), stuff you step up onto that might give way, or uneven terrain, I worry and worry and worry some more, especially when you are all alone in a place such as this one. Your Crocs are your trademark, (along with your hat), but sometimes they are inadequate. I'd send you some sturdy hiking boots if I could. Please consider obtaining and changing into such footwear with thick soles and ankle support when conditions seem to support such a choice. I'd take it hard if you ever got hurt and I'm sure most of your fans would too.

I've had a Cadillac that had 4 doors, two of them being suicide style doors, where their handles match in the middle of the doors. They are an oddity for sure. It's sort of a type of limo from the 1970's.

That's great someone paid for your food. That happened to me and my wife and our 3 little ones one time at a Chinese buffet, we went to pay and they said someone had paid for our whole family, which was probably about $60! There are some really great people in this world.

I've seen pictures of that grave before. On the one hand it is very sad that eating library paste is that man's legacy. On the other hand most graves are forgotten, he gets visitors all the time. He is unknown but not forgotten.

Along with the previous comment to this one, I just wanna let you know that I do enjoy most of your content and videos. There are certain things that I really have enjoyed on your travels and seeing the museums, Carnival rides and things of that nature. I really enjoyed that but there’s another side that I don’t really appreciate so much and that is the oddities shops and the junk car stuff. I know you really enjoy and appreciate it and you really like that sort of thing because you do have a lot of it on your videos but as far as myself goes, I’m really not interested in that kind of stuff but that’s just my opinion. And of course I’m not gonna stop watching you because you put these things on cause I know there’s other people like yourself that enjoy this kind of content. Just keep up the good work and continue doing you and take care and be safe🤠.
