I remember making my first cargo bike back in 1987 just so i could take an old washing machine to the recycle center i made it out of an old 3 speed sit up and beg bike and tricycle the guy at the recycle center bort it off me he was so impressed with it

Aunque a los jóvenes el triciclo les parezca una novedad, es un vehículo utilitario con muchos años de edad. Cuando yo era niño, en mi ciudad, era un vehículo de uso corriente; muchas empresas lo usaban como medio de transporte urbano y también los había de alquiler., y aunque eran bastante rudimentarios cumplían su función con éxito. Hoy, con los perfeccionamientos que aporta la tecnología, podía ser un medio de transporte auxiliar muy valioso. Las ciudades se descongestionarían y el aire estaría mucho más limpio. A ver si hay suerte y se impone su uso. Tiene muchas ventajas.

Most people have Dutch bikes. Would be surprised if those are even sold here. Never seen them before, but just looking at those Elfs, they don't look practical for city use here in the Netherlands. And part of riding a bike is being outside,those Elfs are like small cars.

They are expensive. But as more people will use it then it will become cheaper. Just like with new televisions or computer monitors. Maybe it is expensive to buy, but after that you start saving money on buying a car, insurance, petrol and fines.
