They should offer something unique for this truck as a discoverable upgrade in a future map: a hybrid diesel electric engine. My thinking is it would make the truck very heavy but more powerful and fuel efficient. It’s a good excuse to put modern technology in the game and fix the fuel issues without making the truck too overpowered.

This truck is one of my new favorites because it helped me get through the Urska River map at level 16. I also used the Caterpillar 745c when the 5600ts flipped or got stuck. When I got to the Cosmodrome I only used the KRS Bandit and the TUZ 420 to unlock the ZiKR 605R. Felt pretty good doing it without any mods. I might check out Diablo 2 Resurrected open beta this weekend. I never played the original, only Diablo 3.

@@NProvince That Bandit really did an awesome job. Now I can go back and start repairing the bridges on the Urska River map. Looking forward to level 26 when I can unlock the Azov Antarctic truck. Was planning on some D2 after work but I got mandated at work so I’ll have to wait till there’s another beta. No worries though I’m sure I’ll buy the game when it comes out.

I use this guy a lot. Up there in my favourite trucks to use. The ability to use the crane, 3slot cargo and tow a trailer is awesome, but you pay for that, it will cost you. That price is gasoline. It's a bit tippy but not too bad. You just gotta plan your route.

For me, this is my favorite truck whole game, i drive this truck with ramped trailer, and pack a scout fuel trailer in ramped trailer in the back, because with that setup, i can packing 4 slot in ramped trailer too. Best for overloading, dont forget use OHD Tires for more stability, powerfull engine, even with overloading. Love it.

I have the same OCD as you concerning fuel in this game 😅, so I don't use this truck, and rarely the Azov 5319 altough I like this last one very much. My main grief with Snowrunner is here, I can understand best trucks are plagued by fuel consumption for balance reasons, but in this case I think it's a bit exaggerated. For example a 200 l tank for Azov 5319, when the real truck is equiped with two 350 l tank? 😔

Ya so I heard the 5319 original had a placard with a 350L/ 93 Gal fuel tank before the game dropped, but the devs probably dialed that back.

Hi there nathan, I just got this truck. Any tips on which tires to use on it, or rather which tire sets for which situations/maps? For example I know that the OHD1s are a great choice and probably the best choice on pretty much every american truck that can use them, but which mud tire should I go for with this truck? I'm still unsure about the mud tires and how they perform in different situations.

So for the 5600TS my two "go to" picks would either be the MHS 2 or the OHD1 they both are a wider tire and the truck is pretty stable as is. The #2 variant on tires usually is the way to go except on the OHD which would be the OHD1 of course. Personally I would use the OHDs for add stability, but honestly i would test both for yourself and see which one you like better. Both will handle weight really well. I hope that helps

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or they nerfed it, but I find this truck to feel exceedingly tired, like it can't keep an automatic gear above 1 to save its life even on light dirt or slight inclines. If I lose the H-gear (which does feel strong) for any reason it feels nearly impossible to re-engage it if I'm driving off-road. Also it almost always need AWD to go anywhere, even with L-Gear and Diff-Lock it seems to lack grip or power to push forward without also engaging AWD while something like the TwinSteer-69 powers through nearly anything with just RWD.

Ahh I see lemme see if I can help. WHAT tires, gearbox, engine, and trailer are you using for hauling ?

@@NProvince Been using both Offroad and Highrange gearboxes (offroad ofc being much easier to engage H-gear on but it is rather slow on long runs). Second engine mostly because of the ungodly fuel consumption of the third one. OHD I or MHS II for tires. Flatbed/crane with 2 or 4 slot trailer, or long-longs setup depending on job.

Ok so 2 things. First, use the top engine. You’re actually causing your consumption to go up a ton by making a lesser engine struggle more of the time. The top engine 250k torque will be fine. Use the OHD1s, but instead of using a hitch trailer, switch to a semi. I would actually use the step deck low saddle and pack a scout fuel carrier on the step deck part. This will allow better transfer of weight to drive wheels and reduce drag from the dead axles on hitch trailers. That weight from the semi trailer essentially is the best way I’ve found to get performance, balance, and maneuverability. I can also further explain this on stream tomorrow

Yea it is a lil underpowered. It’s a slow churn it out type truck. I’ve seen people use the high range gearbox, but I don’t trust it at fast paces and I don’t think it would sustain high gear under load. I think the off-road gear box should be good!

I feel the international trucks have awful economy compared to others. Paystar TS has a drinking problem Paystar 5070 can go through a tank pretty quickly Fleestar is ok Scout 800 almost requires roof rack, which makes it unstable Loadstar is pretty bad to

I would say so, but I think the OHD1 is always the go too. The MHS2 are solid pick as well. I don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied

What gear box do you run to be able to stay in high range through deep mud

Well I think its highly dependent on 3 things, Torque, Vehicle weight, and The Angular Velocity (Wheel Speed). If you watch my vidoe on torque, you'll see the offroad gearbox takes less speed to receive the 25% bonus to torque than the highrange because its just a slower gearbox. Long story short, there really are only a few vehicles that can stay in highrange and not stall in real deep conditions. This is also dependent on your perspective of whats deep mud as well. I hope that kinda explains it
