Surprised at the results in both games. Thought Samoa would have done better in the test series , but the poms proved to be to strong in the forwards and the do have a couple of flashy backs. Farnworth obviously the best of them.

I get players want a break in the off season but playing for your country is a thing of honor and 80% of Samoans have seemed to turned a spot in the team down. It is a shame this could've been an amazing series. Well done to the Samoan NSW cup team this game though, really put it to one of the best international teams.

How was the tackle on Bateman a 10 minute sin-bin? Ref or bias always kills the spirit of the game as it should be enjoyed for a good winner and a good loser. Win is never enjoyable if it was stolen.

@@SuTu-r4d Because of injuries RTS may have made the kiwi side in 2024, but by reputation only. He certainly didn’t do much for Samoa. Apart from one try saving tackle (which made up for the earlier one he missed badly), half a break and a quick hands for a pass he was very disappointing in this game and the 1st test. 2024 was a year wasted for him not just his fault though. Why have one of the best fullbacks in the game play centre the whole season when it was never working. Needs a rest first, then straight into training at fullback from day one. If not we will never see him play anywhere near his best again

Looks like two blocks from Nsemba for the Farnworth and Marshall tries. Do the Pommy refs understand obstructions? The yellow card changed the game. Samoa not good enough, but the home refs weren't good enough either.

I don't think anybody's refs understand obstruction. You see plenty of this in the NRL and the tries are given.
