Tottori Prefecture is a hidden gem of Japan and an off the beaten path place to visit but it's definitely one of my top 3 favourite prefectures in Japan!!! I can't wait to share with you what I did in Tottori Prefecture in 4 days and just how underrated this place is.... :(
You can get to Tottori easily via direct flights from Tokyo(Haneda or Narita Airport), direct buses depart from all over Japan's major cities and of course you can take the limited express train (Super Hakuta) from many areas such as Kyoto and Osaka.
Here are the places I visited in the video:
More detailed info here: www.tottori-tour.jp/en/
- Mitaki-en Restaurant (Japanese seasonal Sansai cuisine)
- Clear Kayaking at Uradome Coast
- Takumi Shabu Shabu Restaurant
- Totori Sand Dunes
- Sankouen Pear Orchard
- Tottori Sand Museum
- Karoichi Fish Market
- Misasa Onsen Hot Spring Town
Thank you to Tottori Prefecture for inviting me to come and experience your beautiful prefecture!
Join me on Patreon for bonus videos, live streams and much more! ☺

Part 2 kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2S5f5aVpc-NeM0 Here is another episode to add to my "Japan Off The Beaten Path" series!!! Seriously I really want to encourage you all to explore off the typical travel routes because that is when you discover the true beauty of Japan and encounter unexpected adventures. And don't let the language barrier be an excuse to stop you from exploring the local areas!!!! I think not knowing the language would be just as fun if not more :)

Man I swear that when I visit Japan I'm staying for a month at least just to travel around and experience as much as I can. Including the tourist spots to random rural town. I don't know why but there is something so entrancing to Japan's natural beauty and culture. I really enjoyed this video due to Japan and your likeable personality. Subscribed for sure.

T Kin fun fact: the Case Closed anime or Detective Conan (in Japanese Meitantei Conan) actually has a museum dedicated for the manga turned anime in Yura city, Tottori! Been to Tottori to visit the museum and it was the best. Tottori is also popular for the Ge ge Kitaro Museum, other Manga

I know...the Ge ge Kitaro is pretty old they have the anime of it on DVD in Japan. The creator died almost 2 years ago. He lost his right hand during World War 2 and had to learn to do it with his left hand.
