This is my first time watching Netball. As a lifelong basketball fan, I came in thinking this would be a joke. But I watched the whole game, and left, surprisingly entertained. Netball just gained a fan.

@@samgillespie3859 You can't move a different foot than the one you didn't land on and you can pivot on the foot you landed on . You can't take the ball out of their hands and have to stand a meter away . Hope that helped a bit 🤧

We had teams amongst the Caribbean's in the Tri-State USA. Men hanging around would play with us when we were short sided. We used 7aside then. The poor guys had a hard time because they could not move once in possession of the ball nor could they dribble!😂

It’s actually the opposite. Basketball came before. Netball was a modified version of women’s basketball.

It is netball, but it is not the usual version. Standard netball is 7 players per team and only 1 point shots. This is 5 per team on the court. 1, 2 and 3 point shots.

@@x-man9473 Australia's Super Netball, which is the highest level of netball in the world, has brought in the 2 point shot, but not the 3 point shot. The season starts in August. It will be interesting to see how it effects the game. A lot of the goal attacks only shoot from short range. But the 2 point shot is only from 3 metres so it's not really far. They should be able to do it.

@@chesterdonnelly1212 I think Netball is a sport with potential. It just needs to go through a revolutionary phase. Basketball went through revolutionary phases, which is why it became so entertaining. The same thing needs to happen to this sport. Relax some of the rules. Make the flow of the game a little more fluid, while keeping the same spirit and gimmick of the sport. Just my 2 cents

@@x-man9473 I agree with you and I think this is the start of it. I think the best part of the game is the moving of the ball from one end of the court to the other. That is more exciting than basketball which is usually just one person dribbling. The worst part is the shooting from short range with virtually no defence. That is what will put off basketball fans. This change tries to address that. I personally don't like WNBA. I don't like to watch women playing men's sport but not so well. I'm not sexist, women are welcome to play whatever sport they want but I'm not going to pretend it's good. Netball is a completely different sport and I enjoy watching it.
