I've been watching their video for 2 years. Their video is so useful and I get a lot of knowledge about science, space and more and more.

I have no idea how you they manage to keep the channel running, that animation is just unreal, and the fact that thye're not some bigass corporate studio with biased ideas is just amazing. I hope they never stop making such great and entertaining educative content

They are funded by F.U.N.K. which is funded by the German öffentlich rechtlichen Rundfunk (freely translated: public rightly media) which is funded by the Germans by law. Every German has to pay 17,50€ per month for it and it is therefore mostly indipendend. So much they critique everything very well without being biased 95% I am very happy about that.

MisterPyOne a newer video of theirs showed that they get majority of their money by merchandise selling and patrons.
@qwertydavid80703 жыл бұрын
@@softdrink-0 From what I've heard, the german branch is funded by F.U.N.K., but the english branch is funded strictly by youtube adsense and merch. Kurzgesagt actually has many branches in many different european languages, if you didn't know.

5-10 vector illustrated scenes from Illustrator. Thousands of layers in After Effects. Just for a 5-7 seconds of screen time in the final output. I respect these guys and who directs them. Both Illustrators and Motion Designers.

I feel like Patrizia has so much more to say, but she didn't bc she apparently doesn't feel very comfortable with English. Nice talk though! And the interviewer managed to add a lot of value to it in the end, by asking good questions, some of which were even insightful.

With your work you're making knowledge - would it be scientific ideas, philosophical topics or political issues - more easily and even "entertainingly" approachable for so many people. That is beyond valuable. And very much needed in times, that sometimes are referred to as post-factual. As long as you stick to both the facts and your gut feeling your subscribers will always stick with your channel. At least I will. Vielen Dank für euer Engagement!

The universal principle for conveying complex problems is simplification and connection to the familiar. This is precisely what Kurzgesagt is doing. With much appreciation. You did good, Patrizia.

Principles: - ensure each video has an entertaining story - Put things in context 30:20 The videos themselves are meant to be entertaining enough so that even if someone doesn’t have an interest in the topic, they’re engaged enough to watch until they do find it interesting!

Awesome! So much work goes into these videos. I love the way everything is explained and the examples that are given to reinforce an argument or idea, and the animations are so bubbly and clean. These would have been the perfect videos for science class! Nice work Kurzgesagt!

it is sad that their channels name is "kurzgesagt, its german and means said short" but their most videos are only available in their english channel(they have a german channel too). im from germany and it would be nice if they would do ALL their videos in german TOO because not everybody can understand english and if you have a channel in another language then both channels should have the same content. thats maybe only my opinion but i watch all their videos and i love their videos

I wholeheartedly admire Kurzgesagt and their work. Patrizia is honestly one of the most boring spokespeople I've ever heard. I don't know, I wasn't expecting someone grandiose, but at least with more passion and energy. She looked like she was falling asleep, which really contrasted with the channels vibe.
