There will always be outliers; non-uniform individuals. Then, there are contextual variables. Some people, who are intjs, struggle to act as a uniform intj due to mental health issues (such as depression or adhd). Some like learning new things because these "new things" are already included in a category that intjs have subscribed their basic interests to -such as the arts. Some have learned to alter their outward behavior in order to benefit from unavoidable social interactions, because it will work towards the pursuit of their own goals. The list could go on. But, as an intj myself, this is just my perspective.

chrioni dalida - I can only say how I relate to the statement. At work I’m like a machine. I’m extremely efficient and very good at my job. I can get tasks done faster and better than anyone else. I have a coworker who is a narcissist. I’ll get fixated on something she did. So, when I get home I start researching narcissism. 8 hours later I’m still reading about narcissism. I didn’t actually do anything productive while at home. I didn’t have a purpose except to read about why my coworker is a manipulative twat. I’m a lazy turd while at home and a beast while at work. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, my job allows me to leave as soon as my work is finished so I frequently only work 30 hours a week. Literally every other person in the building will play on the computer while trying to get in their 40 hours. I crush it and then peace out so that I can be alone with my intrusive thoughts.

@@tweetyangel19 For me it's like because I work so efficiently and am so goal-oriented, I end up burning out easily. I under-promise constantly at work because I don't want people to rush me, I don't like to feel stressed out. I get bored with my work a lot and find myself needing to take mental breaks where my mind gets to wander off on whatever topic has interested me recently. THen when I go home I'm constantly researching things, "for fun" I guess you would say. ..So I'm lazy in the sense that I don't have a lot of energy for things that don't interest me.

I think the second topic should actually be "intjs don't like trying new things if it's not worth it" being an intj i love trying new things, but I easily get bored if the result isn't as fast as I imagined or if it isn't following the path i planned. this fits perfectly with the third topic, I do like reading and I do like trying new books, but the books must be useful for something or I must aready enjoy that kind of books, and even when I read "just" for entertaining, I like to put a deeper meaning to that reading, i like to try to learn anything from that book.

I actually try new things for a very logical reason. Since INTJs operate off intuition, the more reserve information and patterns we can draw from the more accurate we can plan and predict the future in order to create efficient and functional response to achieve our goals. There are many useful parallels between various subjects and topics and personally I find that knowing as many different things and experiences as I can, while overwhelming, provides me with much more intuitive insight about the world than most people, as well as most INTJs. For example, art and IT. Not related. Understanding how artists think and what their objectives are allow me to better create systems that support artists and their needs, which allows me to maximize my value in a professional capacity, which allows me to enjoy more opportunity and aids in being lazy later on when an obscure art application isnt working right. I took on gardening, because I believe its a required life skill to create and maintain my own food supply. So INTJs, while they may not like the newness of something, will like the challenge pf creating new systems to overcome the new topic, and so long as the new topic has utility, it should be a useful experience which while might not bring enjoyment, should bring deep satisfaction and add to the confidence our type innately carries through life.

I have a plan for my future which will involve trying new things, siffting through what works and does not. I think long and hard about the best path to succeed ,like someone else said if it doesn't work within the allotted time I drop it and look for something else to take it's place, it's not i don't like trying new things it's more of a gaining the right skills to get the job done attitude .

As an INTJ, I finally realized from the third sign why it's easy for me to convince myself to do something that I don't want to before. I agree that most of what I do, I do because of a specific goal. Even my time for entertainment like watching video memes is planned for reasons like getting creativity and motivation. But the one thing that shocks me the most is finally understanding why people mistype me as an extrovert; it's because I see it necessary to be confident and assertive to manage something especially in group works. It becomes difficult to achieve my vision if I stay quiet in my group and I feel bothered when I'm not completely aware of what's happening in our work (tho most of the time I do most of the work). But being more spoken about my ideas, It becomes easier for me to be in control and assure that we can deliver the best output.
@Hassanov.a
@Hassanov.a 3 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I had an extremely severe social anxiety my whole life. But I knew that I would never achieve my goals if I didn't learn how to be confident around others and have the balls to take opportunities. So now I'm actually quite social and happily engage in small talk, for one, because I know it's building a bond over time with that person, whether my coworker or a boss. They will remember me as someone who cares and is competent which can lead to being offered more opportunities down the line.

i am too a INTJ artist, very weird experience in college with all those social stars XD. Art helps me visualize the things i have in my mind, the things i look for, the ones that haunt me, the things that i am. I find pleasure into fitting myself into an aesthethic way by using knowledge on colors, perspective light etc. Each drawing is a new puzzle to test my knowledge and mastery on the rules of optics, making them bend for my purposes. Success means feeling in control of my own world, it means i can. If i can, i must reach people with my ideas. That has always been the plan.

Honestly the spontaneous feelier side of INTJs needs to be coddled like it's a child lol. I can be spontaneous as in, "Lets go on a bike trip, and just wing lunch" not "lets wing an international trip to paris right now, get the credit card" but I could probably go to paris spontaneously if we had been thinking about it for a while. I also get surprisingly go with the flow when it's somebody else's base plan. Traveling to the "Great Wolf Lodge" with my nieces and nephews, just go with the flow and do what the kids want, their mother has the broad strokes down.

It is more efficient to use 1 word to describe any complex idea. Rather than describe the forest I'm walking through as being in a temperate climate with trees of oak, hickory etc and broad leaves that fall off at maturity, you could just say "deciduous".
@jhemp
@jhemp 4 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisTheAdMan I feel the need to chime in. I often believe in using specific words to describe certain concepts and fully subscribe to the notion of operationalization, but more recently, I've found myself questioning whether language truly has the capacity to describe everything. For example, can justice or love truly be defined by mere words? I feel as if there are many limitations on what can be adequately described with words. I don't deal well with ignorance, and much of my problem with videos about INTJ types is that many of them assume too much. For example, I push myself to learn new things all the time, even if they don't seem immediately useful. How can anyone assume that learning something new won't give them access to a new perspective and open a new realm to knowledge? While I prefer being alone, I have no trouble talking to others. They are also a source of potential information. However small the input most people have at least something useful to teach you. Additionally, I find myself constantly looking to change parameters in the way I do things, so that I can challenge myself to come up with better methods. I think regardless of your personality type it is paramount to become comfortable with living in some level of discomfort as that's what is required for maximum growth.

It really frustrates me if I can't use a word that is unfamiliar because I may appear that I'm trying to look "superior"("smart" shaming is rlly prevalent from where I'm from) and the audience may not understand what I'm trying to say which then might lead to misunderstanding, but it is the perfect word to use to convey a message. This is why I don't like people who whine about " you could have used a simpler word, why chose the unfamiliar one?" Well maybe you should try to put some effort in your knowledge about vocabulary cuz I don't like to dumb everything down for you.

Hmm... I would recommend the book Models, the author is probably an ENTJ but it's a very pragmatic approach to dating (he has a great chapter on "don't go to a nightclub" if you are a software engineer). Intoverted Alpha also has a really good INTJ man specific article. When I went to college I focused a lot on how to improve the conversations I was having, small talk is boring so I just jump directly into interesting questions. I would also play a bit of a game where I would go as long as possible without giving them my name, "What is your name? doesn't really matter, what is your favorite disney character?" Match + 1 is a good psychological technique for building intimacy. I became incredibly flirty with everyone, and then if somebody responded I could follow up. Everybody has some iNtuition try to dig it out of them try to figure out what makes them tick. Thinking back a huge amount of women weren't interested in me at all (SFs mostly), but that's great I can move onto other people. I learned to Palm Read and a couple Introspective Imagination things but really that type of "gamey" stuff crashes immediately when you run out of them and the ESFP you are talking to wants to go back to the nightclub. I have found that if you want to talk about Nietzsche philosophy you just volunteer that information. "I read a book about Nihilism yesterday" is in fact a way to start a conversation and skips the small talk, just make sure they are also volunteering information about themselves. I personally like to try and get them talking as much as possible since it saves my energy, I just get the giddiest smile on my face when I am successful in getting them to talk forever (hopefully they think it's because I am interested). INTJs are extremely attractive, you just need to start displaying your best traits and making sure they are the best they can be. Some women are incredibly attracted to blunt honesty, if you just open with your blunt honesty authentically those that aren't leave you alone and those that do flock to you. I tend to open with unconventional dialogue when I meet people and then settle into a more small-talky conversations if we continue to interact. So be an INTJ come up with a plan/template: "express direct romantic interest until someone responds, banter about something or other (maybe just volunteer information about life), first date at art gallery, make sure to show emotions to foster connection, follow up in a few days or immediately if that is what you feel, evaluate and be honest with them about the situation, and keep open to possibilities." and master it and iterate on it until it works. Get the reps in and master the social realm like it's a game.

I felt the same way until I had a guy who kept pursuing me. I gave him a chance to just hang out as friends and he was willing to play 1,000,000 questions (as I do to get to know anyone if I think you are even worth my time and/or trust), surprisingly he stuck around and didn't run away in fear.😆 Along with being a tomboy I am also a very intimidating INTJ which I found it odd such a calm even tempered ISTP (possible ISTJ?) could/would stick around. I actually can relate to this. I tried to speak out a better and possibly the fastest way for our group project once (I had no choice if I want grades) I was literally pissed off at the fact that they just ignored it and continued on what they know how which is the long and painful one and then complain later on on how we still have so much stuff to do cuz everything is just too slow. EDIT: After that, I've never spoken nor suggested my ideas to them anymore because people just won't listen to me and prefer to be stupid.

I don’t understand what you mean by “INTJ doesn’t like trying new things?” INTJ has this natural curiousity in everything, They really like to explore. From my experience I love to do things that helps me grow and to improve my Mentality & Physical being especially some physical activities such as (diving, hike, Exercise, Meditation and etc.) but if you mean like “Parties, Bars, Concerts, Crowds etc.” then No because INTJ don’t waste their time and energy for the things that doesn’t help them especially if it’s not their interests or passion. And the fourth part I don’t agree, INTJ are perfectionists and they can be prone to “Obssesive Compulsive Disorder” so that’s the reason why we procrastinate & struggle to finish the projects because we have taken so many things at once. When i push myself too far and too much pressure i get exhausted. As an INTJ i did learn the cognitive functions and i can say that there’s healthy and unhealthy INTJ.

INTJs like the most efficient way of doing things. INTJs always purposely do things(Mostly long-term goals). INTJs strive for growth(madly obsessed) INTJs laziness usually, if not always, get to them even when they are doing something purposely. Healthy INTJs are going to try to not be stagnant, let's be honest, you don't have to be smart to know that you'll grow from try and doing new things efficiently as possible. It's so funny how these intjs in the comment section can't see through her. She's literally a fake.. Mistyped intj. Or maybe these people in the comments aren't intj themselves and typed themselves from 16 personality. She literally is "acting" like how she thinks intj would talk or think, and it's so stereotypical, it's hilarious. I'll tell you, 5 signs you're not an intj: 1.When you make a channel based on your mbti. Intjs don't give out/reveal information about themselves like that. 2. When you try so hard to look serious, talk without emotions. Because it's so natural for them to be like that, have that "Ni stare" A real intj will try hard to act more warm, friendly and be much more expressive or emotional in front of a camera or audience. they are good at wearing their public masks and its anything but intj. 3. When you try so hard to wear dull color clothes, look minimalistic. Believe it or not Intjs like colors and arent so boring like you all stereotype them. 4. When you have a channel like this. An intj wouldn't ever make a channel like this, discussing themselves or giving out information on their own type. 5. When a person claims they are an Intj and then also behaves like a stereotype. First of all intjs will never claim to be "an actual intj". Second they won't look like the stereotype you read about. Third Only a type having inferior ni or te would want to have intj qualities and impersonate them like this. Intjs don't try to look like intjs, they will either look like infjs, enfjs or even esfps (their public image)

I really don't think not liking to try new things is an actual INTJ staple. That's Si, not Ni. Introverted intuition may not be as "jumping from one concept to another" as Ne or as adventurous as Se, but it's a very conceptual and abstract way of perceiving reality. In many ways, Ni is by itself "different" enough to freak many sensors, so there isn't much an Ni dominant type would consider too weird to even think about. In my opinion, INTJs may be perceived as somewhat resistant to change because they structure long range plans around quite particular visions, which means they are indeed very invested in what they decide to do. Even then, though, that resistance will be about *doing* something, not about considering it or thinking about it. They may be resistant to put time and assets into something else because they'll want to use them to pursue their vision, but they are quite open and fond of exploring new ideas, which are also new things.

Newly typed INTJ here. A lot of this makes sense. 1. I’m definitely a planner. Evernote and Google Calendar are two of my best friends. 2. I typically do the same things, like going to the same restaurant, ordering the same thing, going to the same places for vacation, sticking to the same routines, etc. However, I do try to force myself to try new things sometimes, though it’s small, low-risk things like trying a new drink. I’m not jumping on a plane to Thailand anytime soon. 3. I mostly consume to learn new things, which maybe negates the last point about trying new things. I don’t mind new things, but I need to research it first. I watch KZbin videos and listen to podcasts mostly about self-improvement. I still watch funny videos too though sometimes. 4. This is the one I disagree on. I make plans but I don’t always follow through. I don’t finish everything on my to-do list. Schedules change, my income fluctuates, and sometimes I change my mind. I will literally create budgets five years into the future but that doesn’t mean I will follow it perfectly. I just need a guideline. 5. I am not spontaneous at all! I like my plans and schedules. If I do change my mind about something, it has been carefully considered beforehand.

Points of disagreement: 1) Don' like new things. While I'm not overly enthusiastic to have a new thing just because it is new, I find new things extremely useful. As I am always looking for the most effective and efficient way to do things, if new tool comes out that will help me do a thing better, then that is good. If there's a new technique to learn that improves job efficiency, that would be nice, too. And since plans are cobbled together out of taking one idea and looking at all the different ways it can be applied, I don't take issue with new things unless they're stupid and inefficient. 2) I love to read. I do. Perhaps there was a reason a long time ago. I mean, I'm big on escapism. And understanding literature helps me understand other people so I can better account for their plots. But ultimately I just like to laugh. I like to have fun. Probably, my perfect match is an ENFP because they'd give me a reason to go do more new stuff than I already do, and they would want to see what joy life offers. But there's not really any point to living if it's not fun. What am I saving up all this energy for if it's not to do thing things I enjoy with the people I enjoy?

Eh kind of. I know for sure that I'm an INTJ, so those little white boxes can have splashes of paint. Those are mostly because we have ulterior motives when we do something. For an example, based on myself: I am not social, but I join school clubs. The answer for 'why' isn't fun or socializing. I go to medical clubs and volunteer at the Red Cross for my future resume, allowing me to know basics ahead of time. I joined drama and history clubs to expand my knowledge in class and better my presentation skills. I am a part of biology clubs so that I get extra credit for high school applications. What I am NOT engaging is physical activities, they don't better me in any way that I can't better myself at the gym. So yeah, we seek extra things, but a tree is made of roots and can't stand without it.

1- I plan everything, my organizer is my best friend. I even plan the number of pages I have to read each day to be on time with my study schedule. 2- I get annoyed and anxious when people try to convince me to do new things. For example, I once got invited to a hen party and the plan was to go do an obstacle course on FREAKING TREES. I was like "NOPE". 3- I enjoy reading not just for entertainment, but because I'm thirsty for knowlage. I like to read horror stories not just because I actually enjoy them, but mostly because I like to WRITE them. I could say I consider Stephen King my teacher. I usually never read novels that I do not find useful for my interests, or that won't give me any worthwile information. 4- It is hard for me to finish things, and that's actually something my art teacher got "mad" at me for. I would present an Idea for a project and the next day I would present another, without finishing the first one. I would get really annoyed whenever she told me to go back to the first project and work on that, since I didn't find it significant anymore, like "what about THIS one?!" 5- People find me boring, and I guess I am. I'm a unicorn.

wait what! but she said you are not an INTJ if its hard for you to finish things! your point number 4. like first of all you don't pick new things and the things you actually pick you'll definitely finish them and its not hard to complete it just happens! since in your second point you said you don't like new ideas but in your 4th point you said "I would present an idea for a project and the next day I would present another, WITHOUT FINISHING THE FIRST ONE" but we rarely give new ideas we just brush existing ones and show it to them! may I didn't get what you are trying to say or may be you weren't able to justify yourself!

@@theoristsophist3304 Sorry, I think I didn't express myself correctly (English is not my first language so I tend to be very synthetic, which sometimes can be misleading). It is not hard for me to finish things, it's hard for me to focus on things that I don't care about. I used to be in constant conflict with my art teacher because she would constantly force me to make stuff that I hated and that I didn't consider important for what I wanted to persue. I would get very mad when I presented her ideas that I really cared about and were very important to me and she would just dismiss them. So I was forced to finish projects that to me were pointless and it was so frustrating, a complete waste of my time. When there is a project or a task that is actually important to achieve what I want, I could spend weeks just focusing on that with no issue, and I hate any sort of distraction. In conclusion, it's hard for me to finish things that I consider completely pointless, but I have no problem at all with stuff that is actually usefull tu achieve my purposes.

I like the sentence ,,I am the laziest non lazy person on this planet” I can really relate to this. I usually don’t do anything if I don’t have any logical and good reason. When I find a logical reason to do it I always do it as fast as I can, to be effective and not waste my time. That’s way I rarely put things off until later. People often call me lazy because of my energy-saving lifestyle, which doesn’t include doing useless and meaningless things, but I don’t see it that way.

Recently I've been starting to question wether I am an INTJ or an INTP, but after this video I have confirmed I am in fact an INTJ. "I love to read when I know the answer I need is avaliable in the content" is the most relatable quote I´ve ever heard for sure. Also storing infos "because I´ll need it down the line" and planning on literally anything is really somehing I do a lot lol

@@hamberger220yearsago2 Every test has the issue of not guaranteeing a trait with 100% certainty, it is around 90% certainty per trait. This is true not just on MBTI, but also on the Big Five, where the odds of any of the five traits there being inaccurate is roughly 10% per trait as well. The INTJ vs INTP in particular is hard due to the J/P dichotomy being the least understood in psychology, as it emerged from experimental data, rather than from a theory. Because of that, psychologists have difficulty explaining what it is and why it exists.

#1, agreed. Work smarter, not harder is my motto. If something can be done in less steps and less effort, I'm going to do it. Time is money, and time is the only currency you can never make, only give. Give wisely. #2 is probably the reason why I can listen to the same song on repeat for hours on end. I notice new and different things about the same song in it's production and mastering. Though trying new things, I suppose is a yes and no. Trying new things blindly, fuck no. FUCK no. Trying new things that we've methodically thought out, and researched, sure. But I suppose the concept of that thing isn't necessarily "new" anymore. #3... Is complicated. I'm an avid gamer. I really like gaming, but I'm a competitive gamer. I like to win. Competition is one of the few things that keeps me sane for the most part, because it gives me a goal to achieve. I want to be ranked and bracketed into certain categories to margin my skills and show where I am in the world, but it's something I've done since I was a child. Competition being player vs player, or multiple players vs multiple players is what I gravitate towards. Point scoring I don't care at all about. It's not something I find productive or tangible as it wasn't really a victory. You just wasted time pushing a lot of effort for no actual result. Maybe if it gives you something that you can take into the competitive player vs player scene, then that's possibly attractive, but if it doesn't produce any sort of usable result, then I don't care much for it. Reading, however, I don't do. I've only read one book series, just out of curiosity, but I've never picked up another fiction book again since. I don't feel any sort of accomplishment out of it. Reading for knowledge is something I definitely do, and do more online than offline. I can get more done with reading online than I can offline. I find books to be unnecessary. Especially in this connected world, if you've got something else you need to toggle into, it's just one alt-tab away from addressing rather than getting up, cracking your back because you were in an uncomfortable position for however long it took you to read the thing, and then address the situation. I don't go to bars, or clubs, or nature hikes, or anything like that, however. I'm not very social at all. I'd rather be alone with my hobbies or be around people who are also academically focused, or hobby absorbed than the outgoing partiers who seem to do things just for the sake of it. The only thing I'd be interested in when pertaining to nature, I suppose would be surrounding technological devices to utilize in nature. Like "green technologies" or farming automation. That sort of thing I find fascinating. For now, information security, and quantum computation are what fascinate me among things such as human behavior and psychology, music production, graphic design (somewhat, not so much anymore), and finance. Stocks are something I've recently latched onto and find rather curious. Thank fuck I have an average 80 WPM. /walloftext #4, solid yes. That being said, I've got so many things I've tried to think of and never went through with. Same with music production, if I get bored with a project I'm working on because a song idea came to mind, and it's taking too long to complete, I want to swap out onto something else. Be it either more learning materials, or just video games I suppose. But I've always attributed that towards possibly having an ADHD mindset. I get bored with things way too easy. The future planning however, that is spot on. I have a grand plan that I want to achieve, and I've worked top to bottom in trying to figure out how to get there. I want to achieve a specific goal, and know how to get there from the bigger steps, but the smaller ones are what's most difficult, even though the smaller ones tend to be more insignificant. I perceive it like an entry point into a building and multiple doors to enter through, just some doors require certain hoops to jump through, and I don't want to fuck around with some of the requisites needed to do that. I've tried the whole blogging and SEO shit. It's just not me, and doesn't feel like something tangible that I can be productive with. Too many unknowns, not enough quantifiable results with large outcomes worth dedicating time and energy towards. #5... Why do you gotta call me out like that. Fuck you, too. Though I see some merit in that aspect. Considering if coworkers or friends want to take me out somewhere, I'm very unwilling to do it unless it's planned before-hand. Don't come to my door and try to whisk me away or I'm going to shut it in your face. If I have to plan out going to the god damn convenience store, you damn well better believe I need advance notice about social activities. Whether or not I'm feeling too tired to go is another story. One week I will say yes, and the week that we are to go, I may not be very into it. People interaction is exhausting. Bunch of social vampires out there. More or less it's the flip of a coin whether or not I'll go to said social interaction after the fact. Communication online is weirdly less taxing. Less things to read in a person but I probably make it harder on myself due to my interest in psychology. Facial expressions, nuances, tone of voice, context of conversation, all mean variable things. Constant processing of these things to make better assessments of what to say in reply, or what to do in reply, is tiring. TL;DR: #1, Work Harder Not Smarter. #2, Repetition is good. Trying new things is good also if properly researched before-hand. Fuck doing the thing if the thing doesn't fit into what I like or take interest in. Jumping in blind into said thing is a big no-no. #3, Time wasted isn't necessarily time wasted if what you're wasting your time on is something you enjoy or find value in. I don't value reading fiction. I value reading documents and research, and exclusively online where ever online permits. I value playing competitive video games. Sharp response times and quick decision making keeps my brain active. #4, Basically ADHD tendencies. Get bored easily with things that aren't entertaining me (if you would call it entertainment in general), or informing me on what I care about. Objective or point needed. #5, Fuck you, I'm boring. Social outings are typically wastes of time and incredibly draining. There better be a good reason why I'm having to go out in public. Being constantly aware of people's states and your surroundings is draining. Isolation good, people bad.

I sometimes think that people actually do see me as a boring person. When I'm alone I always do the same stuff, when someone asks me what's new I always tell them nothing because basically nothing except my inner world and school projects is. I like to say that I loooove new stuff but it takes me so much time to start something new because subconsciously I know it'll take a lot of work and time to process it. I like to say that I am spontaneous but I almost never am, only if I plan on not having plan for some good reason. I slightly disagree on a couple of points that was made. For indulgence, that may be the INTJ allowing their Se to "take the wheel" and it may come out in an unhealthy way. Especially in times of stress, INTJs tend to exhibit ESFP (shadow) functions. Therefore, it would be considered "recurring." No 2 INTJs are alike; our morals, values, and purpose all differ. There can be other numerous factors such as environmental and familial. Therefore, I think it is very difficult to generalize people via these anecdotes though most are very INTJ-like. Rather, the core functions of an INTJ is based off of how we prefer to: direct and receive energy, take in information, decide and come to conclusions, and approach the outside world. In general, INTJs do love seeing the big picture, and focus mainly on the patterns and interrelationships, which be perceived from many different sources. In terms of "new things", as long as it is approached with decisiveness (including planning and closure), then that is an INTJ quality. For example, I do like exploring new things, but I liked to be prepared for it. If I'm going to rock climb for the first time, I am going to research the necessary material to perform it well, safely, and without difficulty. But it is true that I tend to do more familiar things. But a "mature" INTJ may be more in tune with this side to them. Some value their Ni more, but Se isn't entirely a bad thing if used in moderation. Having your brain run at maximum capacity is exhausting and it is important to take some time to relieve stress, rather than have your Se burst out all at once in unhealthy indulgence. I liked this site, just because I can relate to these so much: funkymbtifiction.tumblr.com/post/159288307265/the-intj-nitefise If you would like to learn more, keywords to search for: INTJ shadow functions, INTJ function stacks, NiTeFiSe If you have any questions, disagree, or feel that I've missed the point that you were making: please feel free to correct me. I would love to hear different sides to this.
@ladybluelotus

I agree. The key concepts would be purpose, intention and maturity. My default personality is INTJ, and therefore how I approach most any subject or situation is going to be like an INTJ. However, that doesn't mean I am incapable of processing information in a way that is similar to another MBTI type. If the situation dictates that another MBTI types approach would be more efficient, or the circumstances surrounding an event could prevent an INTJ like response. This shift can be unconscious or intentional. And with maturity INTJs can mimic attributes of other MBTI types but that doesn't make it easy or even preferable.
