Today I will give you a full roadmap on how to learn all of this and become a full-stack developer, we will go over a very simple overview of the 3 parts of full-stack development including what you should learn for each one to be good enough, a step-by-step path on how to learn each part, and I will even give you one key tip to give you a massive edge in interviews that almost all beginners miss.
So what is fullstack development? Well simply, on the web we have the frontend and the backend. The front end is the visual part of the web that you see on your screen. the backend is what happens behind the scenes. And these two together alongside something called Devops, form the full stack of web development.

Im over here feeling like i need to learn EVERYTHING, ive pumped the brakes and just started focusing curriculum layouts and project ideas. Building a project so far seems to be the best learning method for myself as i can slowly add different languages. frameworks, or libraries to my project as i go along and need or want them which teaches me about them. win win. Thx for video and information as always!

I woulnt really bother too long with the basics of a language if you already have programming experience, I learned basic python syntax and jumped right into fastAPI. Then I saw they use decorators, quickly watched a video, understood how they work and bam, keep going. Maybe someday I need a lambda expression then I will learn that, lets see

Front-end development hell is putting me off in 2023. Backend is so much easier to manage.

same for me, just a suggestion (as a fellow learner) : try to learn as much frontend as comfortable, don't go much into CSS, or tailwind etc. learn as much as you can understand than push to backend. I want to be a backend dev but there are much more roles for frontend for newbies. This way you can focus on backend while also applying for frontend and fullstack roles (since you know the structure -- learn react though). I am learning free, Scrimba free HTML CSS JS, React free courses then FULLSTACKOPEN by uni of helsinki (which is completely free btw and includes CI/CD, postgres, containers as well as Typescript), completely free and only required focus on CSS rather you use react more for frontend. all the best

Suggestion for you guys. There is a ReactJS course on udemy from Jonas Schmedtmann. I found them structured and easy to understand. I was recently hired as a full stack developer but most of my was at the backend till now so now this course is helping me.

Backend isn’t hard but there is more at stake. If you do a bad job at backend you could end up creating a security risk for your company.

If u want to become a backend developer then u need to know the fundamentals of front-end like HTML CSS JS only but if u want to become then u need to learn front-end and it's frameworks before learning backend.

Why is that in most video tutorial I have watched they advise not to over use div tags but in reality if you inspect most of the website its a lot of div tags..😂😂😂
@sempiterno3243
@sempiterno3243 4 ай бұрын
That advice is related to semantic HTML, "semantic HTML gives meaning and structure to web content. It helps search engines and assistive technologies understand content". For example in a news web page, you will use "article" semantic element VS a div which doesnt have meaning, div is mostly for styling
