I actually did an internship in New York at a PR agency last summer and one of our clients sells a supplement that basically replaces the DAO enzyme that your body's missing to break down the histamine in wine and other stuff like avocados and citrus and stuff. I struggle with the same thing when I drink red wine and it's not the biggest deal but if you're looking for something to help that, the supplement is called Umbrellux DAO😌 (not spon I literally was a min. wage paid intern lol)

They have hard wood floors in German flats or apartments?! Is that actual tile in the shower/tub area?! Ugh...i'm ashamed to be American sometimes.

Floor depends on type of house. If it's older city house you might have hardwood floors, but it could also be carpet or lineolium or tiles (with heating). Also common is fake parquet. Tiles in bathroom are very common on floor and walls.
