Rest In Peace Scott Weiland. A modern legend among the history of rock band lead singers. He gave it all on stage and could sing like an angel or roar like a lion!

Used to do this song on vocals with my brother [RIP] playing guitar during open mic night at a dive bar in Vegas called Cheers. Such good times, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I was fortunate enough to see Scott sing with STP a bunch of times and also with his side side band the Wildabouts a few times. I also met him as he was slipping out the back door after a show in SF. He always put on a great show and was such a cool dude. He is Still my favorite vocalist of all time. Miss ya man.

Lucky you!! I did get to see him sing live once but didn't get to meet him. I figured he would be a nice guy.

SHAME. Don't sound so sure of yourself when you're dead wrong.
@duanefromjustice316 Жыл бұрын
You missed the one they actually DID get wrong. It's "do you laugh or does it cry" not "at those who cry."
@boaconstrictor3754 Жыл бұрын
@@duanefromjustice316 How can shame be rusty? Isn't it more logical that the chain is rusty? And a hand in a chain? Not a hand in shame.
@duanefromjustice316 Жыл бұрын
@Ante But it doesn't have to make sense. That's what the lyrics are. Watch the video I sent where they do it acoustically. You can see his mouth slowly and clearly say "shame." And it's "RUSTED" shame, not "rusty."
@boaconstrictor3754 Жыл бұрын
@@duanefromjustice316 I said rusted in my first comment. Ok, I don't agree. The author of these lyrics is probably the deceased singer, so we will never find out which of us is right.

Yea leave it to the actual writer: Scott Weiland… to misuse all his own intents lolol the lyrics are not 100% accurate actually… they edited alot of it… but he really says “hand in rusted shame” hes very weird… also says “do you laugh, OR DOES IT CRY?” 😂😂😢💪💪👌👌🙏🙏😁😁
@duanefromjustice316 Жыл бұрын
Try SHAME!!! The way it was written. Also it's "do you laugh OR DOES IT CRY", not "at those who cry." This vid is one for two.
