+1 Slow and calculated progress seems to be the way to go with this game.

There are three research options that should be a priority. One increases science production to 3 science per 5 cycles (this one should be researched as soon as possible). One gives you a better housing option called "Optimized Quarter" that is 3x6 and holds 40 population and +2 stability (better than the 30 you would get from two "Crew Quarters" I'm the same area). And the last gives reduces the cost to build future solar panels

It was a great episode in the journey to rebuild home...you did it just quick enough such that you didnt compromise the whole...love the series...hope to see more

You play your play style. Most complaints about the difficulty comes from a death spiral. Once you drop the ball, it is hard to recover and remember, pride comes before a fall ;)

One thing that I really love is how immersed u are in the games, ever since ur modded roman Stellaris playthrough came out, I've been hooked, great content, keep it up

FYI: Neptune is composed primarily of gases and liquids and hence has no easily defined surface.

Really loving this series especially the hour long episode, the pace is actually really good since we're able to understand this dynamic survival game in segments.

No need to rush, it's not a race. This game is about exploration and resource management, we need to see everything the game has to offer.. I think you're doing great, your style makes one feel like I'm playing the game. I don't want that to change. looking forward to exploring the new system.

Power consumption overview @1:03:28 can be done. Select the "⚡Power Available" icon in the upper-middle. You can then toggle the buildings on and off. Thanks for the great playthrough. 🎡

I can only agree with the other commenters that said that you should never apologize for playing the game in a way that is fun to you. The first objective is for you to enjoy the game. If that isn't happening, it'll just turn into a chore and you'll burn yourself out, which would result in us not getting to watch any more videos. So you do you. 👍

Your play style is perfect! Don't apologize for it! Also, the roads between sector 2 and 3 are not connected. I have been looking forward to the release of this game, but I am so glad I did not buy it - it is too "linear" for me to enjoy.

Your roads between sector 2 and 3 are a bit off. The 2 passings are not connected to your roads from sector 2 into sector 3. That might speed up the storage of materials from 2 into 3. And I'm just gonna quote Piet Hein (a famous Dane, look him up, a funny and brigt man): Slid, men vid, ting ta'r tid (work hard, but know, things take time). If you rush it, you might lose it all. 🙂

Working on it, just takes time. Ixion takes an hour to record, its simple. Satisfactory takes about 10-15.

@@WhatDarrenPlays Tell me about it. Takes me a least an hour to math even the simplest factory out and that's with using a spreadsheet. Then at least another 4 hours to gather the materials and build the factory. 10-15 hours of work for an episode makes it sound like you actually work faster than I do. 🤭

Not a fan of this Vhole-jump-induced irreversible hull damage mechanic. That seems like such a forced and artificial mechanic, and it cannot really be explained by logic. If parts of your ship are suffering from material fatigue, what is to stop you from replacing the affected parts (a la ship of Theseus)?
