Although this movie came out in 2014, I felt compelled to express what this movie means to me through a tribute of one of the best science fiction films of all time. From the incredible score by Hans Zimmer to the beautifully crafted cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema, this movie is the film of the decade. In Nolan we trust.

I was very surprised when Matthew McConaughey didn't get at least an Oscar nomination for his performance. His investment and dedication to the role of the father/Man of science is remarkable. I think this movie has set the bar very high for later Sci-fi movies that deal space/time travel

Very nice edit, well done. Although, while I think On The Nature of Daylight is a beautiful piece, I don't think any music compliments Interstellar more than Zimmer's original score. It would be cool to see a Nolan + Richter collaboration.

I love this film. And Nolan knowing hollyweird would rob him of awards for this is commendable. Hollyweird hates religion and love. So salute to you Nolan this film is beyond just a masterpiece imo. Matthew Mcconaughey gave a brilliant performance that I didn't believe he could. Never seen matt as a drama actor but he really showed us hiw great his acting can be in this film. So it's one of my favorites. The answer being LOVE is so phenomenal and beautiful. I know alot of hollyweird and liberals hated this film. Because they don't believe and think Love is just some science thing. Yet LOVE has never been and won't be explained by science ever imo. Because I was raised and finally in my late teens early 20s I found my faith again. Im 30 now and feel my grandfather was right all along. He would always tell me when I asked about God. That God is love and love is God. So when I finished this film the first time I kinda felt emotional because of my grandparents always telling me that.
