The .44 Magnum is very attractive with its amazing stopping power, but I tend to lean more towards the M9 for its sheer capacity. And I rely heavily on my secondary while sniping; if I miss with my primary, expect several 9mm projectiles to be coming your way.

@sk8terboy309 I loved the Bolt Action Rifles in World at War because you could use them without Sniper Scopes and have just Ironsights. They were like a whole new species of guns in themselves. So the concept of Red Dots on Snipers would appeal to me, but I can see people complaining about them as if it's "easy quickscoping" or some shit like that.

Yeah, BF has pretty nice choice of sights. You can put so many different kinds of stuff on your rifle - iron, holo, red dot, acog, pso, night vision - you name it, man :) I also remember having good times in Bad Company 2 while using GOL or SV98 with red dot

i literally reached red tiger on intervention in like 8 hours, before sniper i was a full assault rifle but thats when i fell in love with the intervention with an acog

Because they expect an easy kill on a sniper, if you pull your secondary they are surprised and can't handle the situation any more. They think that they would have won the gunfight if u hadn't pulled it out, but if it's a reg gun, they would expect to get killed, because in close range they don't have the advantage

You should try the SV98, M40A5, or M98B with iron sights in Battlefield 3. (The Straight Pull Bolt helps a lot with follow up shots, knowing two shot kills aren't uncommon.)
