Love how he talks about the mixed genres shows. When they came to my town they opened for a deathcore band and played alongside a proggy deathcore and posi post-hardcore band and it was my favourite gigs ever. Hope they come back, so talented and such great dudes.

I really liked Prophets. Digression especially. It's hard to dislike anything they have put out so far.

I'll never understand their "hate" on Prophets, it's a really good album, Sturdy Wings is easily my favourite Counterparts song and it would be awesome to hear it live. I know everyvody grows up and changes and maybe they don't like it now,but not even Digression?..man, at least they keep Only Anchors, that breakdown deserves to be played live!

Well sure, it's a really good album. REALLY GOOD in fact for a debut. BUT, compared to TDBHAH, Brendan is right. It's much more mature, it's a much more solid album, and they've really forged their own sound. They still have that nice Counterparts melodic stuff, but it's much tighter overall. In regards to Digression, yeah it's a good song but think about the lyrics. I know exactly where Brendan is coming from. Whether it's about an old girlfriend that he'd rather not mention or deal with again, or it was a dark time for him and Stephanie, I and many other fans totally understand why a song like that would never be played again.

Brendan is against Digression cause he wrote that song about her girlfriend and then she broke up with him cause one time he couldn't get hard when their were about to have sex. I think that is the reason. Fucking bitch.
